As Raya walked down the street, she held her head high, her heels clicking against the pavement. A few paparazzi men followed behind her, and she purposefully paid them no mind. Ever since it was announced that she signed a deal with her former label, Vision Records, everyone was fighting to get the scoop. Especially now, since it was known that she and her old girl group members were on the outs.
Raya was committed to creating a new image and starting fresh. She left social media to focus on perfecting her album and deleted her feed. When she became active again, she only followed three accounts: Vision Records' official Instagram page, Chance, and her idol, Beyonce Knowles Carter.
From an outside perspective, Raya essentially deleted everything and anything that had to do with Trinity from her life. And Symone and Michael had no problem doing the same as they unfollowed each other and Raya on all platforms.
The public was living for the post-break-up drama, and the last time the girls had this much attention on them was when they announced that they were splitting.
And just like back then, the main person everyone wanted to hear from was Raya.
"You talk to Symone or Michael?" One of the men pressed. "They're not supporting your new setup?"
Raya just kept silent as her eyes scanned the street, looking for her car.
"Is it true your signing bonus was higher than Symone's?" Another one asked.
