chapter 8

The next day Noelle had woken up and was laying in bed still thinking about what happened yesterday, although Asta didn't mock her she hadn't thought about what the others would say about her she was almost to embarrassed to leave her room she kinda hoped no one was home but then she heard a loud explotion which meant that they were here, Noelle didn't feel motivated to leave her room but in the end she had to get up and maybe even give a proper thanks to Asta for saving her, when noelle walked out of her room she started making her way down the hallway and down the staircase, when noelle made it down the stairs she hid behind a wall and peaked over it to see if Asta was in there she hoped he wasn't because she wasn't ready to face the black bulls At least not yet, when noelle saw Asta wasn't in there she sighed a sigh of relief and walks outside quietly and makes her way to the spot where she tried to practice her magic yesterday, when noelle reached the spot she looked around in shame

Noelle:(I couldn't hit one stupid tree, I'm not worthy of being a royal)

Noelle walked closer to the tree and put her arms out so she could shot a water ball at it

Noelle:(alright concentrate focus on the tree)

Noelle shots the water ball but it flies straight into the ground which made her  frustraed, she was going to attempt again but then Asta appeared ontop of the tree and spoke to her

Asta:at this rate you'll never hit the tree

Noelle:huh!?! Oh it's you

Asta:[smiles] so how'd you sleep?

Noelle:quit talking like we're friends because we're not

Asta:we could be I mean we're on the same squad so

Noelle:like I said we're not friends so leave me alone ok

Asta:aw don't be like that, it looks like you could use a friend [smiles]

Noelle:well I don't want your friendship, I have plenty already [lies]

Asta:well what's one more friend going to do?

Noelle:why are you presistant on wanting to be my friend, is it because I'm royalty and because you want money?

Asta:I have no interest in money, what I'm more interest in is making my first friend

Noelle:(first friend?) Well a royal like wouldn't want a peasant like you for a friend

Noelle crosses her arms and turns around

Asta:aw my feeling [smiles] but if that's how you feel them sure I'll leave you alone

Noelle:thanks you (but maybe being friends with him wouldn't be such a bad, I don't really have any friends so i guess he could be my first friend) you know what fine I guess we fine I guess we could-

Noelle turns around and sees he's not there

Noelle:where did he go?hmph not like I care (so why do I care?)

Asta had teleported right infront of the base after his "conversation" with Noelle, while he was walking liebe popped out from Asta cheek

Liebe:so she's kind of a bitch huh?

Asta:please don't call

Liebe:why not, her high and mighty attitude is really annoying

Asta:i know it is but I don't think she's like that without a reason and please cut it the names

Liebe:fine

Asta walks back inside the base and it's met with a fire ball nearly hitting him in the face
