"Let's take another look inside the manga. Perhaps new information has appeared," Kiera suggested. I nodded and opened the book, flipping through the pages until I found a new panel sequence.
"Interesting, this explains our quirks," I said, reading it aloud.
According to the manga, my quirk is called "Lightning Wings." I can generate high voltage electricity within my wings, which are made of pure silver. They appear white when my quirk isn't activated, and silver when it is. Additionally, I can control each feather's movement telepathically. This aspect is similar to Hawks' quirk.
Kiera's quirk, known as "Oblivion," allows her to render anyone she meets in an oblivion state. By meeting their eye, her violet eyes send out an alluring shine, making her opponents incapable of resisting her stare. The person will remain in this trance until released by Kiera's will. In general, we have powerful quirks, although the manga doesn't list their drawbacks.
"You've got a flashy quirk there, Sei," Kiera remarked.
"Oblivion's not any less impressive though, Kie," I countered.
"So, we're in the MHA world. It's a completely different universe," I mused.
"I have no idea what we're supposed to do here," Kiera replied. I shrugged.
My gaze landed on a picture of a house in the manga. It wasn't overly large or small.
"What is this?" I wondered, pointing to the image. Kiera gave it a perplexed look.
"Maybe it's where we'll find our answers?" she suggested.
"But, what if it's just a random house?" I queried.
"Well, there's no harm in checking it out. Although, neither of us knows where it is," Kiera admitted.
"I could send one of my feathers to look for it," I proposed. "I can control them individually."
"But, do you even know how to use your quirk yet?" Kiera inquired.
"It's just a matter of thinking that my wings are part of my body, like my arms and legs. I can give it a try," I replied. I detached a feather and watched it float in front of us.
"Okay, little guy, go find the house I'm thinking of right now," I instructed. The feather darted away, and I tracked its path with ease.
"Wow, that's amazing," Kiera breathed in wonder. I grinned at her.
"Let's go for a walk while we wait," I suggested, taking her hand. I mean, it's not every day that you get to explore your favorite anime's world.
"But won't your feather get lost?" Kiera queried.
"I can track its direction and see everything it passes through," I explained, and she nodded.
We wandered through the streets of Musutafu, marveling at the beauty around us, even though it wasn't real.
"I wish I could spend my whole life here," Kiera sighed.
"Me too," I agreed, closing my eyes to take a deep breath. A moment later, I heard Kiera yell, "Watch out, Sei!" But it was too late. I had run into a wall, and my head throbbed from the impact.
"Ow." I rubbed my forehead, feeling something cold and sticky on my shirt. I looked down to see ice cream ruining my shirt.
"Dumbass, can't you watch where you're going?" a belligerent voice snapped. I raised my head, dreading what I would see.
Staring right at me were a pair of menacing red eyes.
