chapter 4: insomnia

I was still in jay's arms crying. Wasnt he a flirt? He's always that play-boy type..why was this time different?

"J-jay..you were always a flirt to EVERY girl.Why is this time different?" I asked. I'm so stupid. My face was buried in his chest while I was crying and I decided to ask that question. Vote Yang Aeri for being the most dumbest person I guess.

"It's because uhm..you're crying.." He replied. He looked down to the ground

I guess who never liked me back. He just pitied me..</3 I can't believe I thought I had a chance. There's still hope right? It's not like he rejected me or anything

"You can sleep on my bed" He implied
"Then where are you gonna sleep?" I asked.
"Wherever you want me to" He replied.

There's no way that i'm gonna cuddle with him right? Plus he has my room, the living room and the backyard- 😃 Man, I'm really whipped for him arent I.

I got changed into my pajamas and went down to the living room to say goodnight to jay. i walked down stairs and saw him scrolling with his camera which had photos of me. "Wow..Aeri is really pretty.." He whispered. DO U THINK HE SAID WHAT I THINK HE SAID?? HE CALLED ME PRETTY! AHHHHH
I cannot process what just happened-

"OH-OH-OH UHM..GOOD NIGHT JAY- LOVE?- NO NO NO I MEAN-" I ran before I could finish my sentence. We were both shocked. I quickly ran to his room and tried falling asleep.

I was watching videos of Aeri on my phone and slowly fell asleep.

I woke up to Aeri smacking me with a pillow

"WAKE UP JAY!!!!"
"Chill, I'm awake"

Who knew that Aeri would be so agressive when you wake up late.

I checked the time and it was only 9 AM. I had such a good dream too 😭 I saw her stack of burnt waffles next to the bin. I slightly smiled at her, "Nice burnt waffles". She rolled her eyes at me

"I'm a better cook then you" She scoffed.
"Oh alright, cooking challenge?" I asked confidently. She nodded her head as a sign that she agrees. We set the timer and started baking.

As I mixed the cake batter, Aeri wiped some frosting on my nose. "Aish..PAY BACK TIME!" I yelled. There was no way I was gonna let her mess up my beautiful, manly face without getting revenge. We ran across the kitchen and I grabbed onto her waist.

"GOTCHA!" I giggled. I wiped some cake batter on her cheek and hugged her. "Aish, no more hugging me. It will become a habit" She said in teasing manner. "I know you like it" I teased. We both laughed at my cheesy comment and continued cooking.
