Amanda's POV'
I cant believe he would lie to my face like that. I knew he was lying but I didn't wanna push it so I just left. I'm staying with a friend of mines until we figure this out , we might not even get married OR be together anymore.
Stacy: So you just left
Amanda: Yeah , I just can't stay in that house , in that bed having that feeling he might be cheating
Stacy: I see your point but what if he wants to see Ayden
Amanda: I'll let him see him after all he IS the father , but I just need sometime away to think , yah know then I start work tomorrow and I need someone to babysit Ayden
Stacy: I'll do it , I'm off from Monday thru Friday
Amanda: Really Stace this means a lot , and thank you for letting me stay here for awhile
Stacy: No problem , no get some sleep its been a long day
After that she went in her room. I looked at Ayden , picked him and said
Amanda: You may not understand a word I'm saying , or what's going on , but just know that I love you and that your the best thing that has ever happened to me Whatever happens between me and your dad its not because of you , he loves you okay.
After that she rocked him , fed him , played with then gave him a bath and put him to sleep.
The next morning:
I woke up , showered , got dressed , grabbed my gun and shield , kissed Ayden then left out the door. 20 minutes later I arrived at the precinct I looked at my stomach and saw I had baby fat , I need to work out more. I sat down at my desk twirling in my car. Soon Liv walked in.
Liv: Morning Amanda , your here early , you and Nick usually come in together
Amanda: Well we didn't *I snapped*
Liv: Is everything okay ?
Amanda: Peachy !
Liv nodded and walked into her office. Soon after Fin walked in.
Fin: Morning Amanda glad to have you back *while sitting down at his desk across from mines*
Amanda: Why isn't everyone
Fin: Where's pretty boy ?
Amanda: Who knows *while rolling my eyes*
Fin: Everything alright ?
Amanda: Yah know Fin I Do-
Olivia: Where the hell is Amaro ?
Once she said that Nick walked through the door
Nick: Morning Guys
Everyone said 'Good Morning' except for me. He walked over and tried to kiss me by I turned my face
Olivia: Okayyyyy guys we have a case , victim says she was raped by brother , she at Mercy , Rollins . Amaro. You go.
Amanda: Come on Fin let's go
Olivia: I said take Amaro
Amanda: Well I'm taking Fin
Then I grabbed Fin and dragged him out the door.
Olivia: What was all that about ?
Nick: Nothing .
2 hours later:
Everyone was sitting at their desk doing paperwork , The tension between Nick and Amanda was so thick you couldn't cut it with a knife. Nick would sneak looks at Amanda hoping they make eye contact but none yet. Then Maria walked through the door , Nick thought his day couldn't get any worse.
Maria: Heyyyy Nickkk
She leaned in for a kiss but he pushed away. during all of this everyone sees this going on.
Nick: What are you doing ?
Amanda: Yeah what are you doing ?
Maria: Ohh so Nick you didn't tell her
Amanda: Tell me what (while crossing my arms)
Maria: That we are I-
Nick: Maria this isn't the time or place for this and I still don't know what your talking about
Maria: Well let me refresh your memory she pulled out her phone and pulled up a video of me and maria making love. Nick was speechless.
Amanda: YOU LIED TO ME NICK ! I knew something was up and I'm glad I trusted my gut. You slept with your EX-WIFE
Nick: She must have drugged me because I don't remember that
Amanda: Well maybe this will jog your memory
She punched him in his face then walked out.
