The basket was carried through the air by doves. It's handle had a red ribbon tied on it, and a wovenblanket and roses laid inside. Also inside was an envelope. It was sealed with a small heart sticker. Inside it read:
Dear Leo,
Hello! I've sent you this letter for... a lot of reasons.
How are you? I've heard you stayed at Waystation for a while and then traveled to Camp Half-Blood. You're with your friends now. I know you missed them, and I hope you're enjoying yourself.
I tried to Iris Message Waystation the other day. Emmie picked up and told me you weren't there. I would love to speak with you again face to face, but because I don't have any golden drachmas, this is the best I can do.
I've missed you dearly. I never knew that I could miss bad jokes and flirting, but here we are. I honestly contemplate whether or not I should have left. However, I think this will benefit us both. Space is one is the things we need most right now. It may be hard, but it is necessary.
I can't wait to see you again and hope you're happy. Stay safe, Leo.
