Chapter 2

The loud noise of Noah slamming into the door made the class have a little laugh, and, eventually, Noah was very embarrased

The boy grabbed his books again and opened the door properly with a face of embarrassment, hoping the accident was forgotten. He smiled embarrassed at the class. The 25 students and the English teacher were looking at him.

"Um, hey guys" - said Noah embarrased

Three girls giggled at him.

Zach, looking at Noah, did a facepalm due to Noah's "hi". The English teacher, Miss Henderson, looked at the embarrased boy from her desk.

"Who are you and why are you doing in my class so late?" - asked Miss Henderson

"I-I'm so sorry Miss, it wasn't my intention. I-I got lost and -"

Miss Henderson interrupted him

"Well, you should have asked someone. If you had done that you wouldn't have got lost" - replied Miss Henderson

"Um, actually, Miss -" - said Zach from the last row -" I should have been there for him. I should have been with him when he got lost, but I completely forgot about him. He's new and I was supposed to show him the school" - said Zach

"Oh, so he's the new student?"- said Miss Henderson

"Yes, Miss" - replied Noah

"Hmm... Okay, I forgive you this time"-said Miss Henderson-"But promise me next time you won't be so late"

"I promise, Miss!" - said Noah

"You can sit down" - said Miss Henderson

"Thank you" - said Noah, and sat next to Zach

"No problem" - said Miss Henderson - "OK, so now that this is solved I'm going to see if everyone is here. Let's see... Sarah Andrews?

Zach touched Noah's shoulder

" Dude, where were you?!?!"-whispered Zach to Noah while Miss Henderson called out names

" I got distracted in my locker and time flew..." - whispered Noah

"I was looking for you when I arrived but I didn't see you" - said Zach - "And I thought: Noah must have gone lost"

"Emily Brown?"-said Miss Henderson

"Ugh, I hate it when that happens to me" - said Noah

"Daniel Foster?"-said Miss Henderson

"Well, anyways..." - said Noah

"Y/N Roberts?"-said Miss Henderson

"Do you know these people?" - said Noah

"James Smith?" - said Miss Henderson

"Hmm, some of them. I was with a few of them for the last 5 years" - said Zach - "Do you see the guy at the front row with the leather jacket?"

"Yeah" - said Noah

"That's Jonathan Bryant, or John, for short, he's actually a pretty nice and generous guy" - said Zach

"Cool" - said Noah

"And over there... You see the dude at the second row?" - said Zach

"Mhm" - replied Noah

"That's Bill West" - said Zach- " He's the funny one in the class, even if sometimes he just goes crazy"

"Okay, hmm... What about the girls?"-replied Noah

"Fine, you see the girl at the third row?" - replied Zach

"Yeah" - said Noah

"That's Kimberly Smith, she's the leader of the popular girls in all of 12th grade" - said Zach- "She just thinks she's better than everyone else and is mean to pretty much everyone, but she has a weakness: <<hot boys >> as she says"

"How did she even get accepted in the school?" - wondered Noah

"Her parents had something no one else had" - replied Zach

"A smart daughter?" - tried to guess Noah

"Money" - replied Zach. Noah was surprised- " Her parents bribed the last director who was here, but now that we have Miss Robinson that won't happen again"

"Oh, okay, ummm..." - said Noah thunderstrucked - "Let's talk about someone else, how about the girl at the first row at the third desk?" - asked Noah

"Oh! How could I forget her? That's Y/N Roberts"- said Zach

"What special thing does she have?"-wondered Noah

"Well, A LOT!" - said Zach - "First of all, she has the best grades in the whole school. YES, THE WHOLE SCHOOL" - replied Zach- "She's not a nerd but she has very high capacities, daughter of one of the most important male members of the NASA and one of the most important female members in the University of Yale"-said Zach

"Wow! That must be freaking cool!" - replied Noah

"Yeah, she's known in the whole school for being smart. She's not as popular as Kimberly but she has a good circle of friends" - said Zach

"Okay guys" - said Miss Henderson- "As everyone is here, turn to page 9"

Noah and Zach opened their books and the class started.
