Kousuke learns how resonate with Raimeiken Ikazuchi for it to evolve into the Gekkou Raimeiken Ikazuchi.
Kousuke is a part of a family that has severed the Sword of Logos for many years. His family is known to be wielders of the Ikazuchi until Kyoichiro Shinsen (the previous Espada before Kento) wielded the Seiken. The Raikou family wasn't mad they understood that since the previous Espada died without having a child that the Seiken must be pasted down to someone worthy. Kyoichiro Shinsen was chosen after he proved himself to be able to wield the Ikazuchi. Kousuke is the great grandson of the sister of last Raikou Espada. Kousuke hates Kento and his father for tainting the legacy of the Ikazuchi. Logos members call the Ikazuchi the cursed blade saying if you wield it you'll become a traitor. The Ankokuken Kurayami is also called a cursed sword alongside the Ikazuchi. Kousuke's goal is to restore the legacy of the Ikazuchi. Kousuke is well mannered and disciplined. Rina and Kousuke both trained together in their younger years.
