Wei wuxian signalled xiuli and xiumei to follow him and they followed him just as he signalled , they creeped down until they were in the yard where they heard the talking and clanging of swords
Wei wuxian was the first to look next was xiuli and next was xiumei. They saw disciples from the 4 sects (nie , lan, jiang and jin) practicing and sparring , the jin heir , nie heir , jiang heir and heiress , lan heir and second heir of lan just practicing
Jiang cheng and jin zixuan were sparring , nie huaisang and jiang yanli were just talking , lan xichen and lan wangji were sparring.
They also saw lan qiren watching the people there.

And he bows and xiuli and xiumei follows him on bowing to lan qiren.
Lan qiren: no need to bow.
Wei wuxian straightens up the same with xiuli and xiumei. Lan qiren looks at him with a thoughtful expression that made wei wuxian curious.
