Just then some tentacle like think slithered out of his eye socket.
"Oh hell no! I have watched too much anime in college. I know where the hell this goes." Clarity scrambled back throwing a lightning blast trying to hit the tentacle but it moved and she hit the ceiling instead. Caitlin tipped over the table in between them.
Clarity screamed as the tentacle shot out suddenly latching onto her wrist. "Ew, ew, ew, don't touch me with your thing! No woman wants that!" Clarity ran her lightning from her wrist along the tentacle to the guys body shocking him. He screamed his body smoking. The tentacle falling limp he gripped his head in pain falling to his knees screaming until suddenly he stopped. A bit of drool leaking from his mouth.
Clarity paused in her shocking with a light gasp of fear. Had she miscalculated the voltage? Was the current too strong? Did she just give him brain damage? She tried not to shock him too badly but he was attacking her friends and his tentacle thing was freaky and- the tentacle suddenly came alive again and Clarity was whipped into the bar by it. Caught unawares due to her hesitation and concern for her foe. No time to glitch before she made impact. The remains of the bar shelves crumbled around her and on top of her. All the many bottles of alcohol splashing her, glass cutting her skin in places. She cried out in pain.
"Clarity!" Felicity yelled in worry. "Oh, my God. Stand back, baby mama, we got this." Felicity told Cecile running to hit him in the back with a chair. Iris followed up with a serving tray trying to fight back the tentacle beast. But both her and Felicity were thrown to the floor. Behind the bar Clarity was struggling to get up despite being drenched and cut up. He caught sight of this his tentacle lashed out wrapping around her neck lifting her high off the ground. Clarity's heels fell off her feet to the floor.
"Come with me. Now. Or your friend. She dies. I'll ring her pretty neck til it snaps." The guy threatened. Clarity should have glitched, or shocked him. Despite the immense pain it would cause her, it would have gotten herself free. She'd rip out the damn tentacle but she didn't want to kill anybody. There was a part of her, a voice that was getting louder and louder in her head. To just let it happen, just die and her struggling would be over, but no if she died that would definitely ruin Iris's big day. And she'd done that enough already.
"Please don't do this. Leave us alone." Caitlin replied. "Let her go."
"Didn't have to be this way." The guy replied his tentacle starting to slither round and tighten all the more. Clarity choked trying to focus but how could she when there were so many thoughts in her head, so many spots dancing in her vision. Useless jolts of lightning bounding off her body.
"What?" Cecile whispered as Caitlin transformed into Killer frost. Her hair turned white her eyes turned blue, her lip stick even miraculously changed from pink to a dark purple color.
"I was hoping to see you again." The guy admitted.
"Really?" Killer Frost challenged. "So I could give you another scar?"
Clarity finally glitched herself free and dropped by the rest of the girls as she heaved.
"Clarity, Clarity your okay, your okay breathe. Just breathe." Irish rubbed at her back. Just then Killer frost blasted tentacle guy straight out the window.
"Ugh. I hate pink." She remarked as she looked down at the outfit she was wearing. Grabbing one of the only remaining champagne's in the restaurant, drinking some straight from the bottle.
"Pink's not a bad color. It's my third favorite. Blue's first, purple comes second. Hey...umm..could I have some ice? Please?" Clarity asked her rubbing at her tender throat.
