Yuki meanwhile settled down on the couch in the living room and took out her phone. Battery was almost empty and she didn't have her charger on her. God effing damnit. She cussed silently before she texted Fusaaki a message. "Hey. I needa speak to you. I hope you're available. Let's meet at your house. Okay?"
She got no reply. Fantastic.

Fusaaki was hiding behind a house wall, hand on the grip of his katana. He heard the voice of a bunch of female demons from the roof above him.
"We need to find shelter", one of them said. "With all these angels flying around the city, we can't risk to stay this out in the open for much longer.",
"That's right..." another one replied. "But as of now, I can't think of anything.",
"I mean, if it's necessary, I would leave all the dogs behind and just get the hell out of this town, buuut... the barrier has been strengthened. That means not even demons can leave town anymore.",
"Inconvenient..." He heard a sigh. "Then, we should just avoid the heavenly pack as well as we can, in case they happen to stumble across us. The dogs are worthless. If we can keep them, great. If we can't, no problem. We'll find new ones to lick our feet.",
"Now now, Valacaria. I wouldn't say this out so loud. There might be little rats hiding around here..."
As soon as Fusaaki heard it, he drew his sword, very cautious about what would happen next. If they would attack, he'd just slice them down. If not, then he could keep trying to figure out if these delusional ladies were a threat or not.
"Oh, there ARE little rats hiding around here", a third voice remarked. However, they seemingly didn't refer to Fusaaki, because he saw an arrow buzzing through the air from some feet away. A group of people came running his way, equipped with shiny weapons which he soon identified to be silver. Demon hunters, obviously. The four demons on the roof hissed and then disappeared. These hunters didn't pursue them. One of them had spotted Fusaaki hiding in the shade. He came closer and stared him straight in the eye, which made him feel uncomfortable. "...Human", the man said. The others came closing here. The man saw the sword in Fusaaki's hand. "... this one is silver. Who are you?",
"... Why should that be any of your concern?" he replied, his voice filled with mistrust.
"You were spying on those demons, weren't you?" the man said.
"Yeah. Problem?",
"No. I am just wondering why a kid with a silver sword would be doing this. Where do you have this weapon from? Did you steal it? These kinds of weapons aren't usually available.",
"I didn't steal it", he replied coldly. "This one is a steel sword. It just has a silver layer which was added later.",
"I understand. Why would you be in possession of such a sword?"
He quickly thought of an answer and then suddenly had an idea. A risky one... one that would probably be even more dangerous than anything else he would have done. But... he could try his luck. "Why do you think, brightspark? Because I, too, am a demon hunter. Not fully educated yet, of course... I am... more of an intern. However, I have done sword training as a sport back in Swiftwood where I originally come from. I know well enough how to wield a sword.",
"An intern? Oh. I apologize. Interns aren't registered, maybe our boss knows more about it. But why were you pursuing these demons on your own?",
"I wasn't pursuing them. I was eavesdropping on them because I hoped to figure out if there are more of them and where. Instead of killing them right away, you know. My mentor said "see the demon, kill the demon". I disagree. That's why I am not working with him. Our approaches are way too different.",
"You seem to be a very intelligent boy", the man said. "My name is Jack. What's yours?",
"Fusaaki", he answered truthfully.
"Hello, Fusaaki. Did you hear anything interesting from these demons?"
Fusaaki wasn't yet sure if these were a threat and unless the weren't, he'd cover them up. What he heard was a bit confusing and sounded condescending, but he didn't have enough details to judge whether or not they were worth being killed.
"No", he replied. "They were just talking about their dogs and said something about a place where they stay, but I haven't gotten any details about anything.",
"That's a bummer... They got away, unfortunately. The demons start becoming nastier by the minute. Let's go back to the HQ together, how about that?",
"..." He thought about it for a moment. If he was in midst them, he probably would find out some stuff about what they were planning. That way, he could successfully warn Yuki and Hiko and probably any other of the Raucos that were or were not out there still. "Sure", he said. Infiltration plan activated. He went with them, sheathing his sword again. He took out his phone on the way and saw the message from Yuki. She sent it about half an hour ago. He frowned, then sighed and texted a reply: "I'm sorry. We can't talk at my place. At least not now. I will try to be back in the evening, but I can't promise anything. I'm busy. I'll leave a text when I'm free. Take care." The message didn't arrive.

Yuki's phone had died. She was close to entering rampage mode. "Nrgh..." She wanted to fire her phone against the wall, but restrained herself. Majoria noticed her frustration. "What are you so salty about?" she asked.
"My battery's empty", Yuki replied. "And of course, I don't have a dang charger on me. Fusaaki didn't respond right away, meaning I can't effing contact him at all.",
"Who's Fusaaki?",
"A friend of mine.",
"Well, that's unfortunate. What kind of phone do you have?",
"A Galaxy S7.",
"Hm... I have an S5. Mine is older, but I think the chargers do match. Wait." She went away and came back with a black charger. Yuki plugged it into her phone and lucky enough, it fit in. "Nice. Can I borrow it for a while?",
"Sure, go for it."
Yuki looked for a wall socket and plugged in the charger. Her phone charged.

Fusaaki followed these strangers to the demon hunter HQ. It was between Midhorn and Faystorm, an old factory building. "How many are you actually?" he asked casually. "My mentor never said anything about it.",
"We are about 50 right now", Jack responded.
"Excuse me", a woman interjected. "Who is your mentor again?"
Shit.
Of course, he should've known such a question was about to be asked, but he wasn't prepared. He didn't know the name of any of these guys. How was he supposed to get out of this now?
