Ch 5: Something not like this

With some superhuman gifts
Some superhero, Some meta powered Glitch

"Ah-Ah-Ah, Ah-Ah-Ow
Ah-Ah,Ah-Ah
Ah-Ah-Ah, Ah-Ah-Ow" Clarity sung the background vocals, pain in every syllable. Somehow this song didn't seem very happy anymore like it's original version. Why had the machine picked this one? It peered into her mind and now it was doing this.

"Oh, I want someone that's not like this
Why'd you have to choose to be like this?" Tyler sung gesturing to all of her. One guy in the crowd threw a glass at him. Tyler flipped him off.

"Ah-Ah-Ah, Ah-Ah-Ow

Ah-Ah-Ah, Ah-Ah-Ow.
All I want is to be me again, oh be me again
Oh, you know I don't want be like this!"  Clarity sung gestured to her eyes. Okay it wasn't Tyler. She knew it wasn't actually Tyler, but she couldn't help but try to defend herself. This dumb machine

Tyler took over once more. No point in sticking to the lyrics that lit up the screen. Keeping to the tune of the song singing the words of their parodied version.

Clarity took over not missing a beat finishing up the song from there.

"I'm askin, why'd you have to go?

I didn't ask to get these superhuman gifts
Some superhero's
They don't get a choice to have

Why could you never seem to like this!?

Tyler was supposed to be singing the little background melody, but Clarity'd glitched him on accident and he froze. She didn't want to head his voices anymore.

"Oh, you made it clear no ones ever gonna love this. So tell me Why'd you have to go?
How come I wasn't worth the risk?
I wasn't lookin' for somebody to
Give me superhuman gifts
Lightning shot down from the sky
I thought that you were my guy
Someone I could give my heart and soul to
And then you tore every shred of me to bits

Clarity finished dropping the mic as the music ended. The drones shut down, the karoke machine a steaming pile of scrap, Clarity having fried it accidentally. She ran off the stage.

"Nice pipes." Zari told Clarity with an amused smile as she sipped her drink.

"That wasn't cool." Clarity denied marching up to her. "That machine read my brain, found my worst break up ever turned it into a damn parody of a love song."

"Mm." Zari pointed, "Yeah that was entertaining."

"It was intrusive and uncalled for." Clarity crossed her arms.

"Yeah well that's where your wrong. Wanted to try and learn one real thing about the woman who won't leave me the hell alone. Gotta say wasn't expecting relationship drama." Zari shook her head.
