The little girl seemed to think about this for a moment but she eventually nodded. She reached up for the bottle her sister was holding.
"What's wrong with her?" Sara asked as the older blonde carried her sister off. Mazarine begrudgingly drinking the nasty medicine.
"She needs a recharge." Clarity sighed rubbing at her forehead. "She's like me power wise. Except instead of electricity her abilities are solar based. With A.R.G.U.S's new kill order on me...it's not safe to take her out mid day anymore. I tell her to be careful conserve her energy but kids'll be kids. Don't worry though, we'll get by and on second thought sensing things underground actually isn't gonna work well. Ground interferes with signals getting through, this place is like a bubble it'll take a lot out of me. More than I should risk right now. I'm sorry, it's not just Zari I have to think about here."
"It's okay, we understand. You do what you need to do." Sara told her. "We'll figure something out."
"Knowing Zari she would go somewhere she wouldn't be singled out. Somewhere she can blend where she won't run the risk of getting reported." Clarity told her.
"Rory," Sara looked to the arsonist after absorbing the information, "If you had this much heat on you, where would you go?"
Rory had an idea taking them all to a shady bar in a bad patch of town. Nate opting to stay behind on the waverider with Amaya and Stein again. Older Clarity having stayed behind in the O.A.S.I.S. not wanting to over complicate the mission for them.
"My bar." Rory frowned looking around the legends arriving just as Tyler and Clarity got on the bars Karoke stage. "What have they done to my bar?"
"Too much, Ray, too much." Sara sighed as she peered out at the mass of thugs in this joint.
"What? I look like I just robbed a bank." Ray protested petting his goatee.
"Or a costume store." Jax denied with a laugh.
"There she is." Mick pointed spotting Zari.
"And there's Clarity." Sara frowned as Mick walked off to talk to Zari. "and Tyler's with her? What's he doing here? This isn't good."
"Yeah but look he's not in uniform." Ray pointed out. "Maybe he's off duty."
"Yo, Wait a second are they about to sing?" Jax wondered. A random thug cleared his throat pointing to a sign on the wall. It read Tuesday afternoon karoke night. Sing or die. "Oh of course it's like that." Jax complained.
"I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Zeus with his master bolt
And Green Arrow with his bow
I couldn't resist putting myself upon that list." Clarity sung into the mic, the lasers that were trained on her high incentive to take away any stage fright Clarity had.
"Woah are they changing the lyrics?" Jax whispered.
"Jax not the time." Sara hissed at him. "If Tyler's here we have a serious problem."
"Wait did you see that?" Ray pointed to where Tyler had flickered for a moment. Someone had walked through the laser to get another beer. "He's just a hologram. He's not actually here."
"So she said, hey babe I have to go.
I asked, how much you wanna risk?" The Tyler projection took over, and damn could that man sing. His voice kept soft and smooth as he looked down at Clarity shaking his head as he sung the words that were breaking her heart all over again. Even though they hadn't been together for so long it still hurt. She wanted to drop this damned Mic so this stupid futuristic karoke machine would shut off. But if she did that she ran the risk of more killer drones coming and being alerted. She just had to suffer through this rotten trick Zari had played on her. The futuristic hacker having hacked into the karaoke machine and forced it to land on her.
