Chapter 3

"Ah!" Barry yelled as many memories once again appeared on his head, with all the pain he had, he kneels, when this was happening Thea doesn't know what to do, she was going to touch him but lighting and sparks started to appear in every part of his body

"What the hell?" she whispered, as she went to get her bow and tranquilizer arrow

"No more!" he yelled with all the power of his lungs he had, then the headache and sparks started to disappear which made Thea even more curious about what just happened to ask

"Is that one of your powers you said you have? Or what's happening to you?" she said still aiming the tranquilizer arrow at him

"I wish that my powers would appear but I think it's affecting me... It's affecting me staying on this timeline, I started to forget even more things from my past timeline..." he said

"We need to get you those things before it's too late, but please, don't forget my brother, I need you to remember him..."

"We need to get the chemicals before I forget your brother..."

"Wait here, let me get the chemicals, and you, prepare everything, but if I see you steal something or you lied, this arrow is going right into your skull, you hear me?"

"Let's hope it works at the first try..." he said

After one hour Thea arrived with all the chemicals, but Barry wasn't there, looking everywhere with her bow and arrow prepared to shoot.

"I knew I shouldn't have trusted him, it was just another maniac making me think Ollie is still alive..." Thea murmured while looking on another place, then a sound was headed beside her, she didn't look before shooting to the place she heard the man

"Ah!" Barry yelled

"Why did you shoot me?!" He yelled

"I told you not to move!" She answered back

"I was making something so the chemicals could work!" He said, grabbing his injured shoulder, she just sighed and then grab the arrow

"You're lucky I didn't shoot you on the head or the heart," she said removing the arrow, Barry couldn't stop screaming from the pain

"First your brother shot me on the back, now you shoot me on the shoulder? You really are siblings," he said bandaging his injured chest

"You really think Ollie and you work together? I know Ollie, and he would not work with you, he is a party guy, and you're more like... a nerd," she said

"At first it was difficult, but now we work really good together," he said

"Fine, let's do this, let's get your "speed" back," she said still not believing him

At the ceiling of the Verdant, there was a chair made out of wood and it had some handcuffs, and above the chair, it was a metal bowl with a metallic bar. When Thea saw everything she was impressed

"You made everything in just one hour or less?" She asked then a thunder sound, making the rainfall even more than it already was

"Well yeah, it was really easy since most of the things were on the bar, the most difficult part was finding the lightning rod," he said pointing to the metallic bar

"Well let's do this," she said, then Barry explained to her what she needed to do while he was putting the chemicals near the chair

"You understand?" He asked still putting the chemicals

"Yeah, yeah, sit down while we wait for the lighting to strike you," she said, going to her place and lighting up a cigarette.

"So you didn't stop smoking or taking drugs?" He asked, making Thea look at him

"First, I stopped taking drugs, but smoking yeah every time I'm nervous or I just want one, and seconds I never told you about this," she said showing the cigarettes

"I told you before, I'm from another earth or timeline, and I just want to tell you this... Ollie fought for you to stop smoking and taking drugs, if he's alive he wouldn't want you smoking," he said

"Sadly he is not here, and I will take this cigarette so I can be calm, and don't worry, I will find that son of a bitch that destroyed the engines of the Gambit," she said throwing the cigarette to the ground

"Now prepare the-" before she could finish lighting struck the lightning rod, making Barry scream with all his lungs

"What the hell?" Thea said looking at what was happening, immediately she took a blanket and she covered him with it. After seeing that the fire vanished she opened the blanket, seeing a burned-out Barry.

"Oh, boy... What am I supposed to do with this?" she asked herself

"I hope you're helping me, Ollie, I hope this is a sign about you still being alive on something," she said looking at the sky, thinking about her dead brother

"I just need to heal him, if he's not dead... I hope so," she said covering Barry once again, then he started to carry him in bride style, taking him back to the lair. This was all happening while something or someone moving really fast that no eye human could see. It was in the shadows looking at everything that just happened; he had an evil smile only a speedster could see.

"Because of Barry... My old friend, this is just starting, you brought us to hell and now you need to get used to this..."

"Now who's the villain, Flash? Now who's the villain?" he said with the evilest smile someone can show. And in a Flash, he faded away.

Back down at the lair, Thea was healing (trying) Barry as much as she could sense his body was all burned. As she finishes, she starts to put the bandages on when the screams of Barry distract her from the bandages.

"Don't move, you just had a third-degree burn."

"I-I need to get back there, we need another chance," he said trying to stand up

"Are you crazy? A lightning just hit you and you want another one?"

"I need my speed so I can help you, so we can get Oliver back." He said, she looked at him not sure what to say. Something inside her believes this crazy guy is telling the truth, but other things believe he can't trust him.

"If you survive the next lighting and nothing happens I'll take you to Iron Heights, or maybe that crazy Asylum from Gotham." She says

"Deal, now let's get back upstairs." He says and then takes him back up the stairs.
