Skylar's POV

I woke up the next morning with our plan running through my head.

Leanne, Hailey and I had spent the previous night preparing a plan to get out of the house. We all knew that there was no point in asking if we could go out, because we knew that all of our parents would immediately say no.

So we found a way to get out without being caught.

"Good morning Skylar." Hailey smiled as she walked into my room, looking perfect as always.

She had her blonde hair tied up into a cute messy bun with her pyjama shorts resting perfectly on her hips and her oversized shirt tucked in perfectly.

"Morning Hails." I yawned as I slowly climbed out of bed.

"Are you excited for tonight?" she asked.

"Kind of, I'm worried that we're going to get caught." I whispered.

"As long as we stick to the plan, nothing can go wrong!" she said, a little too loudly.

"Would you keep your voice down? My parents seem to have the ability to hear everything and if they hear you-"

"I know, I know, they'll kill us, whatever! This house is so big, there's no way they'll hear us from here."

"Who'll hear what?" Leanne asked, wandering in behind Hailey and making me jump slightly.

"Jeez Leanne, don't scare me like that." I said, holding a hand against my chest.

"Whatever, let's just get some breakfast and hang out by the pool before we get ready. Stop stressing Sky." Hailey said, placing a hand on my shoulder as we all made our way downstairs to the kitchen.

I knew that I was the one ruining the fun a little, but they really have no idea what my parents can be like. Even though Hailey is their niece, I don't think she understands the fact that they seem to find out everything. That's the reason that I'm so nervous, I don't understand how they do it.

When we walked into the kitchen, Lucas was sat at the dinner table opposite Carter and Jamie, with my Mom, Ivy and Kayla all stood around the kitchen island laughing.

The boys were all eating breakfast while our mom's stood with their coffee mugs in hand.

"Good morning everyone." I said with a half-smile.

"Oh, good morning girls!" Ivy said, greeting us as Leanne and Hailey sat beside the boys at the table.

"Morning Sky." My mom smiled as I walked over to see her. "What would you like for breakfast sweetheart?"

"I'll just make myself some toast or something...where's everyone else?" I asked.

"Oh, Dad, Blade and Tris had to head out to do some work early this morning, but don't worry they'll be back soon." she replied.

"I'm not worried mom, you guys seem to have the most boring job ever. What will they even be doing?" I laughed as I got myself a drink.

"Oh nothing for you to worry about. You're right, it's all just boring stuff really." she said, sipping her coffee as I shook my head in slight amusement.

"And of course Ryan's still in bed." Kayla laughed, placing her mug on the counter and looking at her watch.

"Of course." We all said in sync.

We spent the majority of the day beside the pool with little else to do.

Ryan eventually joined us after mid day and made quite the entrance by launching himself into the pool at full speed.
