Once we'd all gotten changed into our gym clothes, Mom and Dad led us towards the door into the main training facility.

"Okay, this is it. Are you all ready?" Dad asked.

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed together, although I was the most hesitant.

"It may be a little daunting at first but if any of you need anything then you know where to find us, okay?" Mom said, obviously worried about us.

"Okay, lets go!" Dad smiled as he opened the door.

As he led us into the room, it was far bigger than I'd anticipated. It was loud and full of people, but it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. It was like a huge gym but much more impressive and modern.

It was like something straight out of the movie Divergent.

I looked around to see people fighting each other in boxing rings, working on climbing walls and some just on regular gym equipment. The other side of the room was much more intimidating, with people throwing knives and shooting guns at targets. I certainly didn't feel like I fit in here. I couldn't believe my parents controlled all of this.

"Woah..." Carter smiled, looking as excited as ever.

He's certainly takes after Dad.

"You'll get used to it." Mom chuckled down to me.

"Where are Blade and Tris?" I asked.

"They're already with the recruits." Dad replied as we walked through the training facility..

"I thought these people were the recruits." I said.

"Oh no." Mom and dad laughed together.

"These are our professional fighters. They come here when they aren't out on the field." Dad explained.

"Don't worry, they'll be out of our way soon. We're going to be using all of this equipment to train you guys, we just need to do a little introduction first." Mom said.

"Now, just go through that door and join the small crowd. We'll see you guys in a minute, okay?"

We all agreed as my parents walked away from us and we entered the room.

It was a smaller room than the previous one we were in, but it was still huge. It was a hall with about 30 people, who I assumed to be the recruits and I could see Blade and Tris stood on a small stage in front of them all along with Cyrus and India. All of the people in front of us had made it through my parents training which meant that they must be good. Mom told us that there were originally about 100 people competing for their positions.

Once we'd joined the back of the crowd of people, I could see that most of them were of a similar age to us, if not a little bit older. They all looked very serious, scared almost.

"This place is huge." Jamie said.

"I know, it's pretty cool. I can't believe they've hidden this from us for so long." Leanne agreed.

"I just can't wait to fight some of these losers." Ryan laughed overconfidently.

"Ryan! They're not losers, they're practically professional fighters." Hailey exclaimed.

"It's certainly intimidating." I sighed.

"Aw don't worry Sky, we'll be here to protect you from all the dangerous mafia recruits." Carter mocked, ruffling my hair to mess it up. "Just stick to the treadmill and you'll be fine."

"Haha you're so funny." I said sarcastically to my brother as I shoved him softly.

"Ignore him, you'll be great." Lucas whispered to me, placing a comforting hand on the small of my back as I smiled up at him.
