Chapter 9

I am nowhere at the VIP room where I used to stay when the last time I got admitted here at the hospital

I am now fine and resting

Our manager and some staff of JYP came here to asked what happened. There's also a lot of reporters in front of the hospital.

The news easily spread because of some people who witnessed what happened. For sure it's going to be headline news. I just hope that no one saw Jaemin and Haechan. I don't want them to be involved here

Speaking of Jaemin I didn't saw him since that incident happened. I'm wondering if he's okay. I hope he's not blaming himself for what happened

I'm in the middle of thinking when my mom came together with my brother Eunsoo. They both looked so worried

"Are you now okay? Do you feel any pain right now?" mom is now crying and panicking while looking at my bruises

"I'm already okay it's just bruised" I hugged her to make her stop worrying about me

Eunsoo is just standing at the corner and he looks so mad while looking at my condition. Even if he hides it I knew that he's worried about me. I wonder why he's still mad at me just because I'm with dad. I wonder why he hated Dad that much

We're in the middle of talking when my manager came together with a police officer

"Where's that woman who did this to my daughter?" my mom looks so mad so Eunsoo tried to calm her down

"She's now under the authority and I am here to ask your daughter some questions about what exactly happened"

I agreed to give some statements. I told them everything that happened. I told them every detail that I know to help with their investigation

"Another thing, I think Eun Byeol has a mental illness called Bipolar Disorder" I added and they all looked at me

"How do you say so?" my mom asked

"I noticed that her moods keep on changing. Like suddenly she's going to cry then after that she's going to laugh and start screaming. I think she needs help"

"Are you sure about that?" my manager asked

"She's right" the police suddenly said "Eun Byeol is showing some symptoms that a person with Bipolar Disorder has and we also go to her house and it's full of pictures of your friend Jaemin and it proves that she's a stalker"

"Can you please do your best not to involve Jaemin in this? Like can you please don't give any information on the reporters and media?"

"We'll do everything and we respect your privacy" the police bowed in front of us and I thanked him

Our manager told me that entertainment already knows what happened. They're also helping to settle up everything including the media and our images. I know that Jaemin can't this issue but I just wished that the media will not make another issue about us

My mom and Eunsoo left to talk to buy me some food when Haechan came together with my dad. They're both look so happy to see that I'm already fine. Gladly I didn't get any serious injuries like internal bleeding

"I'm sorry Ryu" Dad is now tearing up while looking at my bruises just like what mom did earlier "I should've been more careful in hiring my employees"

"It's not your fault dad please don't cry"

I am worried about my Dad's job because for sure this hospital will face a lot of problems after this

"You're suffering again because of Jaemin"

I didn't expect him to say that so I lost a word to say. I can't believe that he's thinking that this happened because of Jaemin. Well yeah he's related to it but it's completely my own decision

"I have to go now, I need to talk to someone so Haechan I will leave my daughter to you" he left me being confused about what he said. I can't tell if he's mad at Jaemin or he's just being driven by his emotions

I looked at Haechan and suddenly realized that Haechan heard all of our conversations. Before I explained everything he suddenly talks

"I already know everything, your dad told me earlier" I can't tell his reaction but he looks so sad

"I'm sorry for not telling you, it's just that it's already in the past so I don't want----"

"You don't need to be sorry Ryujin-ah, I'm not mad but I'm happy that I already understand why you treat Jaemin differently"

"What do you mean?"

"You like him right?" he said it without hesitation and I don't know what to say. I didn't answer his question but my silence seems like the answer to his question

He smiled weakly and looked at me directly at my eyes

"I like you Ryujin-ah"

I froze up on my bed when he said that I can't believe that he's confessing to me right now

"W-What?"

"I like you so much since the first time we met on JYP's building that day and I liked you even more now that I got to know you and I just want you to know that I'm going to wait for you to like me back"

I'm lost in words so I just stared at him with my mouth wide open. My brain can't process everything that he just said

"D-Did you just confess to me here at the hospital?" I asked that in disbelief which makes him laugh

"Yeah" he sat behind my bed

"Why now?"

"Because I'm scared that I might lose my chance If I didn't confess to you right now that I heard about you and Jaemin" he patted my head and pull my face closer to him which makes my heart beats so fast

Even if I don't look at myself in the mirror, I know that I'm blushing right now

"You like Jaemin for now but I will change it," he said confidently and kissed my forehead

I froze up on my bed while processing what just happened. I watched him walking out of the door and I saw him smiling which makes me laugh

Haechan is a special person to me but Jaemin is on another level. I know that I'm starting to have a feeling for Haechan but I also know that Jaemin owns my heart from the start and now that Jaemin and I are now in a good relationship again I'm planning to confess to him once again once I get out of here

I once planned to confess to Jaemin 2 years ago but because of what happened between us I didn't have the chance to say it

I don't have to choose between the two of them because from the start...

It's always been him
