Chapter 5

After the MBC Stage, we decided to eat dinner at a Steak Restaurant with-idle members

That restaurant is near my Dad's hospital so I'm planning to stop by later. I never met him after our debut because of my busy schedule but he always sends me text messages to congratulate me. He's always busy every time that I'm planning to visit him because being a director at a hospital was the job and I understand that

I'm closest to my dad and my older brother was closest to my mom. I grew up like this because of my dad. He taught me a lot of things that every man do because he said he wanted me to be an independent and strong woman someday and I'm thankful to him for that because of what I become

I'm close to my mom too but not anymore. I'm blaming her for what happened to our family even though they didn't tell me what exactly the reason is. There's just one day where she started treating my dad like ash. She always finds a way to argue with him. She always says a lot of bad things to him and I hated her for that. I can't blame my dad for my that they're both happy now

We used to be a happy family before but now it's gone

"Ryujin-ah do you want me to join you at your Dad's hospital later?" Chaeryeong asked

"No it's okay I'm planning to have a long talk with dad".

I have a lot of things to say to him. I feel like I need to open up about what's happening between Jaemin and me.

He knows everything about what happened to me and Jaemin before. He knows how I struggled to forget him. He knows how much I cried every night. He knows how much I'm happy every time that their group achieved something

Only my dad knows everything about me that's why he's my comfort zone

"Congratulations on our collaboration stage!" All of us shouted and started eating our steak. It's only us and there's no any staff or manager that's why it's so comfortable for us to do whatever we want

I laughed when I saw Chaeryeong secretly putting some beer on her banana milk and started drinking it like it's real banana milk. We're still a minor so we used to do it lit especially at s time like this where all adults are drinking except us. I'm the one who taught her that because my older brother and I used to do it a lot before

I wonder what my ugly brother is doing now

Chaeryeong passed me some of her 'banana milk' and started to drink it

We talked a lot of things and I rarely join their conversation because I'm busy drinking a lot of 'banana milk' aka beer. Chaeryeong and I are laughing alone at the corner like we're in our world. Later on, Yuna joined us and asked for some banana milk. I immediately gave her one and I laughed so hard when I saw her reaction and gladly she didn't tell Yeji-unnie about it

When it's already 8 pm I said my goodbyes to them and decided to go to my dad's hospital. I didn't bother to text him that I'm going cause for sure he will not read it

"Good evening Ms. Ryujin you can wait at his office, he's currently on duty," the receptionist said

I didn't wait at his office because it feels so suffocating there so I just stay in the lobby and waited for him

While waiting for him I saw a familiar figure walking inside the hospital

Haechan?

Our eyes met and he looks so shocked to see me. He, later on, walks towards me and sat beside me

"What are you doing here?" he asked

"I'm waiting for my father because he's still on duty"

"Your father works here----don't tell me it's Mr. Shin Minho?"
