Fun Facts
- This was based on a Midoriya x Reader oneshot I wrote, which was based on an animatic series on YouTube by Calladraws about Villain Deku, so there was a lot of inspiration for the fic coming from plenty of different places
- Originally, the ending was going to be Bakugou and Energy meeting again in a coffee shop several years later, but I liked this ending a lot better and went for it instead
- I considered either just imprisoning Energy or killing Energy off for a while, but I've been mean before so I thought I'd be nice this time
- I didn't expect the LOV/Shigaraki/Dabi dynamics to become as well developed as they did, but i love the idea of the LOV being one big found family, and with everything that's been happening in the manga I had to bring some fluff in and make everyone happy
- I was gonna keep Tomura alive but I didn't feel right?? Like I felt bad about killing him and was sad too, but it just didn't feel right to keep him alive
- All Might actually met with Energy at one point after they take the deal but before they go back home to tell them about Tomura being Tenko. Reader says they're glad Tomura died before he figured out the connection between him and All Might because he might have never recovered from it
- There was TodoDeku in this fic because my little shipper heart couldn't pass up the chance to include my favorite disaster gays
Final Goodbye
This story is not only the longest I've ever written but it's also been a blast. Exploring a villainous/anti-hero character has been such a cool learning experience for me as an author and adding in one of my favorite fandoms and characters made it even better.
