If there was anyone that Lilith hated in the world,  it was Riley Biers. He had turned her into a vampire.

Coincidently, he had disappeared from Seattle a year prior and he was from Forks as well. Victoria had turned him during his spring break from his freshmen year in college.

He was the first one amongst them that had been turned, and he never let them forget it. His stupid smug face always made her want to kill him. But she always had to restrain from doing so, Victoria threatened her if she did.

Another person she hated

Victoria was a red headed vampire that was turned way before Lilith's lifetime. Apparently, she had a deep hatred for the Cullen family because they killed her mate. Now she was out for revenge.

From what Victoria told her, her mate was fascinated with Bella and tracked her down to Arizona and tried to kill her. At least now she finally got answers about their impromptu road trip.

She missed her socially awkward friend but she couldn't risk going to Forks right now. Victoria would kill her.

From what she had found out, her father went on the run for what he had done to her and when he was caught and sent to jail, he killed himself. She didn't feel any sorrow in the least bit, he got what he deserved. She just wished that he suffered more.

She watched as Riley bit yet another person and it shot a phantom pain to her neck. She remembers the day he bit her and when she had awaken, she was a vampire. It was all apart of Victoria's plot to take down the Cullens, to build a newborn army to defeat them. And what better way to do that, use someone that they're close with.

Riley was dumb enough to think that Victoria cared about him when she put him in charge. And Victoria was dumb enough to think that Lilith would actually help. Victoria said that she had been watching her when she lived in Forks and told Riley to bite her. Lilith was simply pretending to go along with it until she could burn Victoria to a crisp.

The only upside to being turned, she got a cool gift. She could manipulate fire.

Riley's job was to build the army and Lilith's job was to be the muscle and keep the newborns in line. When they were too blood thirsty and couldn't be controlled, Lilith killed them.

"Are you even listening?" Riley's voice said.

She looked at him and her lip curled up in disgust, he had blood all over his face. While she too drank human blood to sustain herself, she thought that he took too much pleasure in drinking people's blood.

"Nope." She looked down to examine her nails, picking the dirt from beneath her pointer finger.

Riley rolled his red eyes and shook his head, she had been a pain in his side since he turned her. "Just do your job." He muttered and walked out of the dark alley.

Lilith leaned against the stone wall as she looked down at the body. Their heart wasn't beating because the venom had killed it and it would take a few days before they turned.

From what she could see, she was a small brunette girl and she couldn't help but fight back her rage. This girl looked no older than 13 and he had taken her life away from her. Just like that.

She could feel her palms beginning to grown warm and had to calm herself before she set the whole alleyway ablaze. Not wanting to stay any longer, she grabbed the girl and positioned her on her back like a piggy back ride and ran towards their hide out.

Emmett looked at the empty chair next to him in the lunch room. Where what should've been his girlfriend, was just a chair that he had left empty just in case she had come back. But he knew she wasn't coming back.

After she was discharged from the hospital, he went to go see her a few weeks later. Only to hear that she had been fostered by a family in Seattle. After finding out where she now lived, he went to go see her, only to find that she had been missing for a week.

He kept checking in with the family, until he was notified from Bella, who was told by her dad, that Lilith was now one of the many people that had disappeared in Seattle.

Emmett was heartbroken, the love of his life was gone.

"It's going to be okay, Emmett." He turned to look at Alice.

People have been telling him that since he learned of her disappearance and it never helped. His siblings had their mates, even Edward was planning on marrying his, while he was alone.

Nothing felt the same

He felt empty

"I'm going to go get some air, I'll see you all back at the house." He got up without hearing a response and made his way to his house.

Upon entering his room, he opened the closet to see Lilith's bright pink suit cases. After it was made clear that she wasn't coming back, they had allowed him to take her stuff.

He had a few of her trinkets that she had taken with her around his room all set up, just in case she came back. Her make up was neatly arranged on his desk, he hung up a tapestry on his wall that she had in her room, a small turtle stuffed animal was on his bed and he had a shirt of hers on his pillow. It was a source of comfort for him and he switched them out when her scent started to disappear.

Emmett laid on his bed and buried his face in her shirt, he would have to swap it out soon, he noted. He clutched the turtle in his arm and just stared at the forest through his window.

He wished more than anything that he could dream so that he could see her once again. But it was wishful thinking, so he settled on remembering her through his memories.

Come back to me, Lilith
