The Party or The Fight?

Baani's POV

"No papa! I am not going" I told

"But why not! You should go! They're our business clients" He said

"Yes but it isn't a business party! It's their 25th wedding anniversary and I don't feel like going" I reasoned 

It was a month after the club incident and after the prank I played on him!!

That was so much fun when I saw his face at night!! 

Angry bull!!

 I was at mansion right now and we got an invitation from Mr.& Mrs. Reddy for their 25th wedding celebration! 

And I don't want to go !!

It's even been three months of our marriage!

"But Kabeer too must be going and you can't deny him" He argued 

Is he?

He surely don't want to go with me !

Because it's been two days since we got invitation and he didn't say a word to me.

Are you feeling hurt?

Yes I am!!

He could've atleast asked me.

He's bad!

You too got invitation!

You could've asked him too!

Why should I ?

Then why should he?

Argh!

"Baani! Your phone is ringing!" Papa said bringing me out of my thoughts and I nodded 

"Yes!" I asked as I picked up the call.

"Are you free tonight?" He asked

"Oh umm why?" I asked back

"Actually in work, I forgot we've a party to attend tonight!" he said and a smile crept on my face!

He's so sweet!

A minute before he was bad!

"Stop zoning out on phone Baani!" he snapped

"Mr & Mrs. Reddy's 25th anniversary!" I blurted

"How do you know?" he asked 

Shit! Shit! Shit!!!

"Oh..that actually.. I too got an invitation but I forgot! It's great you remembered!" I said laughing nervously

"I sometimes think how do you manage a whole empire!" He huffed

"I've my own ways!" I replied

"Be ready till eight!" He said and cut the call

Did I say him Good! 

He can never be! 

He's bad!! 

I turned to find papa standing and smirking!

"What! Eavesdropping is bad habit" I said

" So now suddenly you're ready to go" he asked 

"No! It's just..We must go right! Our business clients" I lied and he chuckled
