(Unedited)
There's this girl, Eva Thomas.
She's quiet, reserved, and hardly talks at all. Not many people besides the teachers have heard her utter anything other than 'excuse me' in a surprisingly okay accent.
However, this non-talking trait of hers ended up being a huge downfall to her high school career. Being a foreigner is already enough to gather attention, but being an African American foreigner in Japan is going to pique a lot of peoples interests.
With this interest comes questions- a lot of questions. However, she hasn't answered not one. Eva would usually just awkwardly mumble an 'excuse me' before rushing away. Some took this as an opportunity to start rumors about her and subject her to racial stereotypes. Others just believed she was reserved and quiet.
It's not that Eva doesn't want to socialize with her peers. She just has a secret that nobody knows about, which doesn't allow her to.
What will happen when Tsukishima Kei accidentally finds out this secret?
