it's the happiness we seek
in the power we crave
and it's the misery we fear
from the emotions we safe
it's mere weakness
to be afraid of grief
when all we need
is to stand tall and leave
it's the bitterness we get
by running from pain
and it's the resulting uncertainty
that makes us insane
