The Family

I pick Ayah up from her crib and Ace is still laid in bed asleep. "Mama." She shouts as I place her in my hip, I get an unnerving feeling in my stomach as I walk into the bedroom. For the past few days I've been feeling sick and really exhausted. I think it's just my hormones going back to normal since Ayah but Harlow said that happened months ago.

"Shhh baby don't wake daddy." I say and she nods her head smiling. I carry her into the bathroom and place her on the floor as I brush my hair. She slowly stands up and walks around the room slowly and back into the bedroom.

"Ayah." I whisper and I see she is walking to Ace. She tucks in the bedsheets dangling over the side of the bed. I pick her up and lean over Ace placing her in my side.

"Ok be quiet and don't wake daddy promise." I say and she holds up her little finger. "Good girl Mammy will be back in one minute." I say and she reposition herself on the bed, she snuggles closer to Ace.

I walk back into the bathroom and look at the sink, I go through the draws looking for my vitamins when i come across a box of pregnancy test.

I look into the bedroom and Ace is still sleep in the bed, I grab one and shrug my shoulders. It won't hurt to just take a test would it.

I unwrap it and contemplate weather I just take the test or not. I decide on taking it and man up, I shake my head and take the test. Once I'm finished I place it on the counter and I hear Ayah whine in the bedroom I quickly wash my hands then go grab her, she is shuffled in the sheets when I walk in.

"Come on my baby" I say picking her up and placing her on my hip. I walk back into the bathroom and play with Ayah while i wait for the test.

It's been around 5 minutes and I'm to scared to look, I don't even know why I took the test. "Ayah will you do it for Mammy." I say and she shakes her head making me laugh.

I pick her up and turn the test over, my entire heart swells in my chest as I read it says positive. I gasp and she squirms in my arms, I reposition her and she stays still.

"Oh my god." I say a little to louder and I hear Ace wake up in bed. I quickly open one of the drawers and throw it in, walking out the bathroom.

"Ayah look who's awake." I say as Ace rubs his eyes sitting up.

"Daddy." She says and I place her on the bed. She crawls onto him and he picks her up.

"Hey baby girl." He says as they hug. I smile and walk out the room.

"Ayah what do you want for breakfast." I say and she shakes her head into Aces chest. "So you don't want any pancakes." I ask making her sit up immediately.

"Pan.cae." She says and i giggle nodding.

"Yeah baby good job." I say picking her up. I lean down and kiss Ace as I reach her and he slaps my ass.

"You want anything." I say and he shakes his head. "Alright come on you. Let's go make some pancakes and leave daddy alone." I say and we walk out the bedroom. I reach the stairs and she is already screaming in my arms.

"Daddyyyyyyyy." She shouts and i laugh.

"I'll be one minute." He shouts back making her huff crossing her arms.

"You really are a drama queen. A lot like your aunt Geanie and Harlow." I giggle as she rests her head on my shoulder.

"Let's make pancakes" I say as we reach the kitchen, I open the sliding doors into the backyard and Romano runs outside.

"Do you want blue berry pancakes or just normal." I say and she points to the counter.

"Huh." I say and she giggles. "Your silly." I say and she smiles at me.

"Eiffel." Ace shouts, me and Ayah look at each other and i hear him walk down the stairs.

"Mama go." She says and i laugh bouncing her up and down in my hip.

"Shhh don't be silly it's just daddy." I say and she smiles at his name. "Look there he is." I say as Ace walks around the corner.

"Hey what's up." I say and he looks at us and smiles.

"Nothing." He says and walks behind me kissing my head. He picks Ayah up and attacks her with kisses as i grab the ingredients to make pancakes. I turn around and see Ace playing with Ayah and I get a warm feeling rake over my body, are we ready to have another baby.

"Ace." I say and he looks up at me from Ayah while she plays with his hand.

"Yeah." He says and i just shake my head then turn around and begin to make the pancake mix.

"Mammys weird today." Ace says and i giggle at them. "How pretty is your mama." Ace says and Ayah holds her hands really far apart and i turn and smile at them.

"How pretty is your Nonna." He asks and she closes them a little bit still wide.

"How pretty is uncle Leo." He asks and she puts her hands down.

"And how pretty is your new brother or sister going to be." He says and i snap my head in his direction. "Why didn't you tell me." He says and i giggle.

"You know?" I ask and he nods his head. He places the pregnancy test on the kitchen island and i smile at him.

"I only took it this morning." I say and he smiles at me then looks at Ayah.

"Hungry." She says and i chuckles.

"I know mija. We can eat when mama has made the pancakes" Ace says and she smiles. She begins to play with her bracelet on her wrist and sways her head back and forth.

I pour the mixture into the pan and start making a pancake. I start with Ayah first because I know she will get impatient after a while.

"You happy now baby." I say and she nods her head..
I place the plate in front of her and Ace cuts it up the begins to feed her.

"Dada eat." She says and i laugh, Ace takes a bite and the continues to feed her as I make another pancake.

"Who do you think new baby will look like mama or dada." I say and she frowns thinking.

"Dada." She replies and looks at me, she shuffles i n Aces lap then gets comfortable and eats again.

"Who do you look like mama or dada." I say and she frowns.

She take a deep breath then says, "Ayah." Making me laugh.

"Yeah mija your Ayah but who do you look like mama or dada." Ace says and she again responds with Ayah. "Yeah baby you don't look like no body else." He continues.

"You don't even have parents huh." I ask and she shakes her head. The chocolate drops in her chin and her tiny hands wipe it, He kiss her hand and then wipes the sauce off her chin. "So how you born then." I say and she giggles.

"Too eeera." She says and i frown. "Too eraee." She says and i look at her confused.

"Huh." I say and she begins to laugh. "What you say." I encourage her to keep going and she starts to laugh.

"Too Earnie." She says again and i laugh.

"Too early." Ace ask and she nods her head. "You were born to early." He question and she again nods her head. "I'm sure mama, will say different to that baby." Ace say and she starts to laugh. I begin to laugh at her and she giggles.

"You are silly."I say and she laughs louder. "Who made you funny mama or dada." I say and she points to ace "Dada?" I ask and she nods her head. He kiss her forehead and she giggles.

"Eat dada eat." She says and i place the plate in front of him, He lifts his fork and takes a bite then continues to feed Ayah.
