"The pictures show the same two SVT members on different days, but mostly the same places. Because they were disguised as normal citizens it was hard to spot them at first but as the bypassers already said, their behaviour was pretty strange."

Everyone focused on the older member, attentively listening to her story and eager to know what the notorious gang was up to. We quickly had to figure out their plans or else something worse could happen than a school exploding.
Everyone knew by heart that time was running out.

"Which members?" Jihyo asked her, curiously resting her head in the palm of her hand.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I think it's Vernon, S.Coups, and The8."

"Do you have a clue what they could be up to?"

A frustrated sigh left her lips before she shook her weary head and scratched the back of her neck.
"No, so far we have nothing. The police are already trying to find any clues, but we probably have to wait a while until we actually get some new information. It's really annoying."

Yeeun took a sharp breath in while she held one of the pictures in her hands, her eyes slightly narrowed as she tried to find even the smallest detail that could possibly help them out right now.
In that short amount of time though, she wasn't able to get anything so she slowly collected the many pictures again and put them back into the folder.

"Well then", she continued and pushed the folder aside, "How about NCT? Any new activities or conspicuities?"

It was now Jihyo's time to report and the room automatically went silent again as soon as the brunette started talking. "Nothing, it's been surprisingly quiet.
The Dreamies haven't left the headquarters since the day we picked up Sunghee and when one of the other members left the building, it was only for grocery shopping.
I don't know if they war currently planning something, but it somehow feels like they are waiting for something."

My eyes immediately grew wide when I heard the last sentence.
'It feels like they're waiting for something.' Maybe they were waiting, but instead of something, they were rather waiting for someone.

Could it really be possible though? I had already told Donghuyck and Mark that DRGNS was against the idea of working together, so why would they still insist? Thinking about it honestly, I had tried to make myself believe that DRGNS really didn't want to form an alliance with them, when in reality, I was waiting for the gang to change their mind just like NCT did.

"They're waiting for us", it unconsciously left my lips while I stared at the middle of the table, not really focusing on anything.

Yeeun immediately took notice of my words and I could tell by the way the members around me shifted in their seats, that our leader was eyeing me with a threatening expression.

"What was that?" she asked with a blunt tone in her voice, the atmosphere automatically getting heavier before putting pressure on me. My eyes finally went up, only to look at a surprisingly serious expression that caused goosebumps to form all over my skin.

"I said, they are waiting for us. They're waiting because they still hope we will change our minds and possibly work together with them."

As if my words had just summoned a vicious demon, Yeeun's eyebrows raised in an intimidating manner, the DRGNS leader only clicking her tongue without breaking eye contact. Even though I wanted to shit my pants, I still stared at her undaunted.

"You're really getting on my nerves right now, do you know that? I told you so many fucking times that it won't happen and you're still mentioning it?"
