Chapter Eighteen: Day Before Graduation

Y/N's Pov
I decided to go to California, I needed to see Jess. He needed to know what he did to me. How much he hurt me.
At California~~
I walked off of the bus and it was pretty dark outside. I saw Jess.
"You have nothing? I have nothing!" I heard Jess yell at who I presume was his father.
"You have me!" I yelled.
Jess turned around.
"Y/N?" Jess asked.
He looked shocked to see me. I ran over to him, and immediately bolted into his chest. He returned my hug, wrapping his arms, around me.
"Hey.." He whispered.
I heard his father walking away. I pulled away from Jess.
"You left me," I whispered.
"I know.. I'm sorry.. but look I'm here now," He said.
"No! Your not here now, I'm here now!" I yelled.
"And that's okay, we can be together now. I didn't mean to leave you, I never wanted to hurt you," He said.
"I didn't come back to be with you," I said wrapping my arms around myself.
The way I said it wasn't bitterly, it was quiet, but also sweet.
"What?" He asked.
"I came to show you how much you hurt me," I said.
"You came all the way across the country to tell me that?" He asked.
I nodded.
"But your here.. you don't have to leave," He said.
"I do," I said.
He shook his head.
"I'm moving to Boston," I said.
"Boston?" He asked stuffing his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket.
"I got into Boston University," I said.
"That's great," He said.
"Thanks," I whispered.
"Well I should go," I said.
He nodded looking down.
"Bye," I said.
I turned around and started walking away.
"Wait," Jess said running up to me.
I turned around.
"Good luck," He whispered.
"Thanks Jess," I smiled.
He kissed my cheek, and turned to walk away. I walked away too. I went to the bus stop.
Back at Stars Hollow
I walked into our house.
"Y/N Gilmore! Where in gods name have you been?!" My mom shouted.
"California.." I whispered.
"What?" She asked.
"I went to California to see Jess," I said.
"What?" She asked.
"He needed to know that he hurt me," I said.
Mom brought me into a hug. I expected for her to yell at me or something, but she didn't.
"It's gonna be okay," She said.
"I can't believe he left me," I cried.
"I know.. but it's okay.." She said.
"No, no, it's not," I cried.
"Honey.. your gonna be okay, find someone new," Mom told me.
I nodded.
"Well get some sleep. Your graduating tomorrow," Mom told me.
"Yeah..graduating.. wow.." I smiled.
Mom nodded, and we went to bed.

Sorry for the extreme short chapter, but I just wanted to do this one, because I have many ideas for the next chapters.
