Hendrix's POV
"Thanks mom, I just need to finish this meeting then I'll be right there." Sabi niya sa ina bago napahawak sa ulo. "Yes I know but this meeting is been scheduled two months ago. I can't just abandoned it. Just please take care of my Tamara. I love you mom got to go now." He said before turning the phone off.
When he get back to the conference room ay agad na sumeryoso ang mukha niya.
"Ok let's start." He said before start talking about his plans to expand his company in North America.
He's with twelve inverstor all over the world wanting to hear his idea and it took them almost two hours before the meeting is over.
"Your so brilliant young man, no wonder your company became one of the top companies in asia. Expect my investment, and good luck to you." Sabi ng isa sa kilalang negosyante sa europa. "Do you mind joing us for dinner tonight? I would love to introduce you to my daughter." Sabi pa nito na ikinailing niya.
"I'm sorry sir but I'm actually going to see my girlfriend after this."
Tila nagulat ito maging ang ibang nasa loob ng conference room.
"You have a girlfriend?" Tanong ng isang ginang.
Ngumiti siya bago tumango. "Yes madam. And I'm sorry for leaving ahead all of you but she's in the hospital now and I really need to be there. If you'll excuse me." Sabi niya bago yumuko sa mga ito tsaka umalis sa silid.
Halos takbuhin niya ang pasilyo para lang makaalis agad. When he rode his car ay agad niyang tinawagan ang ina.
"Hello?"
"Ma, how was tamara?" Agad na tanong niya.
"Nakatulog na anak, napagod ata sa kakaiyak. Kawawang bata." Sabi pa nito kaya napahinga siya ng malalim. "How about his brother?"
"Under observation iho. He will undergo ct scan again to see if he got some blood cloth in his brain. Papunta ka naba?"
"Yes mommy."
"O siya, ingat sa pagmamaneho. Iintayin ka nalang namin dito." Sabi nito bago ibinaba ang tawag.
It took him almost twenty minutes before he arrived to the hospital. And when his parents saw him ay agad na umalis ang mga ito at naiwan siyang nakatitig sa dalagang tulog na tulog sa kama.
Napailing siya ng makita ang namamagang mga mata ni Tamara indikasyon na ang daming nailuha ng mga mata nito. Fck he wanted to be with her but he just cant. Sana hindi ito galit.
This morning ay nakatanggap ito ng tawag sa ospital patukoy sa kapatid nito. Her brother had an seizure attack at muntik pang di maisalba ang buhay. He can't come with her so he asked his parents to be with tamara which his happy that they said yes.
For almost two months being with her ay kilala na ito ng buong angkan niya. His family and relatives knows her as his girlfriend. And his parents even think that they're married already dahil sa apat na araw na hiningi niyang pahinga sa kumpanya para magbakasyon kasama ang dalaga.
They thought they're having their honeymoon but to his mom's dismay ay hindi tama ang iniisip ng mga ito. But seriously it actually feels like they're on a honeymoon at that time. He takes her nonstop on those four days.
And on those days he knows more about her. Magaling itong magluto, masayahin at napaka hilig sa kdrama. Pag nasa villa lang sila ay kontento na itong nanonood ng kdrama habang hinihintay siyang matapos ang mga trabahong dinala niya through online.
Hindi ito clingy pero gustong gusto nito ang niya yakap ito which he likes the most dahil kung sa kanilang dalawa lang din naman eh mas clingy siyang tunay.
And in sex department. Well he was never starved.
Tamara is a nice lady but when you put her in bed she became a temptress. Kaya nitong sabayan ang mga gusto niya sa kama at hindi ito mareklamo.
Inshort she is an all in one girl. And his happy she is his.
Relationship? He Dont know, he just go with the flow with what they are now.
Napatingin siya sa pinto ng may kumatok doon. At nang bumukas iyon ay agad siyang napatayo ng makita ang doctor kasama ang isang nurse.
"Doc."
"Good afternoon sir, are you perhaps related to the patient?"
Tumango siya.
"Hendrix Campbell, her boyfriend." Sabi niya sabay lahad ng kamay na agad nitong inabot at nakipagkamay sa kanya.
"Well I just came here to tell your girlfriend to avoid stress as much as possible. She's one month pregnant at hindi masyadong makapit ang bata." Sabi nito na ikinakurap niya.
"What?" Gulat niyang anas na ikinangiti ng doctora.
"Yes sir buntis ang girlfriend and we need to inject some sleeping medicine to her kanina para makapagpahinga siya ayon narin sa utos ng magulang niyo. But here's the medicine that she needs to take. I will come back once she wakes up to tell her and do's and don't of pregnancy. Ingatan niyo po ang mag ina niyo and congratulations ulit." Sabi nito bago umalis at iwan siyang tulalang nakahawak sa resitang binigay ng doctor.
His heart is thumping so fast that he swear he could hear his own heartbeat.
He look at tamara at sa di niya napigilan ang sarili na mapangisi. Damn.
Agad agad na kinuha niya ang cellphone at tinawagan ang ina.
"Yes iho?"
"M-mom."
"Bakit? May nangyari ba? How's Tamara?"
"Mom." He said again before walking towards Tamara's bed at hinawakan ang kamay nito. "Mom I'm going to be a dad." He said habang nakatitig sa mukha ng dalaga. "You hear me mommy, magiging tatay na ako." He said again na ikinasinghap nang mama niya.
He turn off his phone bago niyuko ang dalaga at pinugpog nang halik ang mukha nito. Maybe because of the sleeping medicine they inject to her kaya di man lang ito nagising sa ginawa niya.
But damn it he was happy. Finally.
"You are mine baby so mine." Bulong niya bago hinalikan ang labi nito.
