Most people believe that long distance relationships don't last; that being too far away from each other was detrimental to the love that was shared. But Tooru had to disagree with that. He didn't care about the uncertainty of everything; of how he couldn't hold the love of his life in his arms. It didn't really matter to him because as long as he got to see Misaki's face and hear her voice, he was perfectly content.

People still judged them though. Despite what was thought about him, Tooru was not just an oblivious pretty boy. He was pretty, but not oblivious. In the pile of comments on his posts online, he always noticed the more negative ones, especially the ones that were talking about his relationship with Misaki. Tooru knew it was an unhealthy habit to look at those, but he really couldn't stop himself.

They were too young to know what love is; that Misaki is just holding him back; long distance relationships never last so they should break up already....

But Tooru refuted them all. Maybe he and Misaki were too young to know about love, but did he care? All that mattered to him was that he knew that he loves Misaki with all his heart and soul and that he could never love another the way he loves her. And he knew Misaki was the same. Not a day went by without a text from her. No matter what happened; even if she had an exam the same day, she'd text him, they'd facetime and yes, it was rather embarrassing to admit but the two had also tried kissing each other through the screen before. (Iwa-chan would make so much fun of them if he knew that.)
