16 - Finally over

8:00 am

"Sohee-ah, wake up we have to visit the court today" "mm..." I finally managed to wake up, Hobi gave me my morning kiss and said that he would prepare breakfast today

Meanwhile I got dressed up and rushed down to help but by then he had finished preparing breakfast and was waiting for me

The aunt I know wouldn't be so easy, I just feel like something's not right" "Yah! It's all in your mind, don't overthink and get yourself worried" he said holding me closer but still.. I had the feeling like we are missing something..

My aunt was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment, as she was escorted by the police she came near me and said "Sohee-ah, I'm sorry for all the things that I've done to hurt you and Hoseok, I'm the reason for your parent's and Mr.Jung's death and I know my apology means nothing now but still.. I should've been a good aunt and should've taken care of you when I had the chance.. I hope you forgive me and family, I'm sorry Sohee-ah"

Her words left me broken.. If she had realized this earlier we could've been a happy family, Hoseok wouldn't have lost his only family..

Time skip

It was almost 9 and Hobi was dozing off on his table

"Hoseok-ah, come let's go sleep in our room" I called out to him softly, We were in the bed and Hobi was already sleeping

But.. I couldn't sleep as my mind wandered in a pool of thoughts, I just couldn't feeling I had earlier, I'm sure there's something behind my aunt's sudden change of behavior

Just then my phone buzzed, it was a message from an unknown number, it read "Don't you think it's all over, you can't escape from me" a lump formed in my throat and I started sweating

I didn't want to wake Hobi so I decided to tell him about this in the morning and for now just tried to sleep... after several hours I finally managed to sleep
