Snowflakes are falling
From the mysterious dark sky,
And the cold sensation
Caresses my skin cautiously —
Reminding me that I'm alive;
Perhaps just breathing,
Not fully alive.
Hope, they say,
Is the anchor of life,
But what if my reason
To hope for better
Is not with me anymore?
Wiping my eyes,
I reminisce about
Your words,
Which never failed
To make me feel euphoric,
And I smile to myself.
Wherever you are,
And wherever you will be —
Could I see you for one last time
Again?
I shake my head,
As your words swim in my head
Without ceasing.
But I won't cry.
For I will live on —
One life
For the two of us.

the end.
