BTW, the first part was written on a phone. Also, I'm going to try and keep this shorter than my previous chapters(key word TRY).

There also might be some angst.(Badly written cause I suck)

3rd Person POV

Merlin had just finished talking to Aeryn about the plan for today. She was going to avoid Arthur in her normal girl form for the time before Merlin would need to tell him. He would stay in his boy form until he told him.

So, Merlin was currently walking down the hall, trying to figure a way to still be with Arthur even if he had to leave Camelot. He was in his own head that he didn't notice the approaching maid. They bumped into each other and Merlin started to apologise.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry," he stood up and stretched out a hand to the girl on the floor, the flowers she was carrying scattered on the floor. She had dark skin and hazel eyes. She wore a simple purple and white dress that laid comfortably on her.

"Oh, it's alright. I wasn't watching where I was going," She replied. Merlin bent down and collected the flowers and handed them back to the serving girl.

"Well, I wasn't paying attention either. Nice flowers, by the way. Someone must really like you," the girl blushed and giggled.

"No, these aren't for me. These are for the lady Morgana. I'm her serving girl, Guinevere but most people call me Gwen," she stuck her hand out. Merlin repeated the gesture.

"I'm Merlin," they shook hands before Gwen said:

"Like the prince visiting?"

"Exactly like the Prince visiting," Gwen caught on and bowed respectfully before Merlin stopped her "Oh no, don't worry. I'm not the type for formalities,"

"Although the flowers aren't for me, this is," she pulled a necklace form under her dress, which was hiding it "My fiancé Lancelot, who's a knight, gave me this a while back. It might sound weird, but when I look at it, it's almost like I can feel him and how he's doing,"

"YES. A NECKLACE! That's perfect!" He exclaimed in joy. He found a solution to his problem. Gwen laughed.

"You're strange," Merlin tilted his head with a light smirk "Not like the bad kind. Just... like... you know," Merlin chuckled.

"No I understood. However, I've got to go do...princey stuff. I'll let you go on with your day," he smiled and started walking away at a slow pace. Gwen turned around so she faced towards him.

"It was lovely meeting you, Your Highness," She called out to him. He turned on his heel so they were facing each other once again.

"Please, call me Merlin," he smiled once more and turned back around to continue down the hallway. He was going to the market.

Merlin was walking down the hallways after having purchased two necklaces with an iridescent moonstone gem attached to it. He was surprised to find it at the market place as moonstone was the easiest crystal he could enchant. He wondered if the merchants knew the magically stone right under their nose. Probably not, as no merchant would want to sell and own a magical object where they can easily be executed for it.
