Reasserting Relations

I did that for the rest of the day, leading into Friday. However, I didn't work on the weekends, including Fridays, so it was annoying as I tried to ignore his texts while the phone continuously chimed in my hand. 

While Ava was at school, I did some mild cleaning until she came home.

I had just finished making some Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp for our lunch when she arrived home. She had gone upstairs to change and washed her hands before coming back downstairs to eat

"Mama can I go to Brianna's tonight, please ?" she asked, sitting in front of me on the chair around the kitchen island.

"Are you gonna come back at 5 a.m. again" I joked

Every time she goes to her best friend's house,  she ends up calling James to come to pick her up, and no matter how early it is, he always goes to pick her up.

"No, I'll try to stay until 6 " she grinned

"You can go, after you finish eating first"

"Ok, thank you!!, " she beamed

After eating, we sat in the kitchen talking about our week, basically catching up on anything we missed in each other's lives. Though I'm technically Ava's mother, the relationship we share would make you think we're best friends. She tells me everything and vise versa.

"Buzz Buzz" my phone vibrated beside me

Picking it up, I see that it was the girls face-timing me.

"Yo" I answered

"You wanna go to the club tonight, for real this time, " Angel asked

"Hey, aunties, " Ava said, putting her face in the phone

"Hey, baby!" they both exclaimed

"Yeah, I'll come to the club with y'all," I managed to get out before Ava took my phone going upstairs to talk to Maya and Angel leaving me downstairs by myself

While Ava was upstairs on the phone, I stayed downstairs to clean the kitchen . After cleaning, I called James and went upstairs to get Ava

"Do you have everything you need?" I asked

"Yes, did you call James already?"

"Yeah, he probably already out at the front"

With that said, she picked up her small overnight bag, gave me a hug and a kiss before running outside the building to the car.

Going back upstairs, I took a shower and set a timer deciding to sleep until 9:30.

As I sat in front of my vanity putting on my makeup, I decided to go minimal with the amount I put on since it's the club and it's bound to get sweaty. I have on a short latex black dress accompanied by a corset and a deep v neck which showcases my boobs, black heels, and a short puffer coat.

By the time I finished putting on my makeup, it was 10 o'clock. I was waiting for James to pick me up. I asked him to pick up Angel and Maya after he dropped Ava off since I knew they were going to be too drunk to drive, and I didn't want to do it

"Were downstairs" read a text from James

Walking in the elevator, I made my way to the car downstairs. Opening the back door,  I hopped in, only to get a bottle of Hennessy shoved in my face.

"Really, you couldn't wait," I asked amused, as I took  the bottle from her, taking a dip from it.

"Nope!, ". she grinned. "We finna get crunk in this bitch tonight," she shouted making us burst out in a fit of laughter as the car pulled off
