Valentine's Day Special

Start from the beginning

"Love? Where are the twins?"

I asked as it came to mind, I haven't heard even the smallest bit of ruckus all morning like I usually do. Harry smirked a little and looked up at me to speak,

"Smee was granted a day ta have them so he came ta pick em up this morning, we have the whole house to ourselves ta do whatever we want~"

Harry sang with a wink or two as I of course know what he's implying. I felt my cheeks heat up as I bit my lip the tiniest bit as he maintained that devastatingly handsome smirk he had,

"I am internally so jittery, I have a surprise for ya and I desperately just want ta tell ya what it is but first I have some other things planned. I can't wait ta see what ya think"

Harry continued after a few moments of eye contact used purely to communicate what we were both thinking. Goodness me he has absolutely outdone himself hasn't he? I brightly smiled and shook my head a little bit,

"You've already outdone yourself, I'm sure whatever it is I'll absolutely adore. Next year you have to let me have Valentine's Day so I can pamper the living daylights out of you alright?"

Harry chuckled and looked at me through his messy hair that was sweeping in front of his eyes a little bit. He over-dramatically sighed,

"I guess, aye we can switch! I have this year ta pamper ye, ye have the next one for me, then I have the next year, so on and so forth"

I giggled and readjusted my robe as it fell off my shoulder a little, I brushed my messy hair back behind my ear,

"That sounds like a wonderful idea Har, I can't wait! I gotta start planning for next year since you've gone so all-out"

Harry looked up at me and slowly his smile grew into more of a smirk of confidence, one that I melt a little with when I see it. A sort of look in his eye with the slight raise of one of his brows all paired with his slightly agape, soft lips turning upward ever so slightly. The look alone told me exactly what he said next before he even said it,

"Ye haven't seen anything yet love~"

After breakfast, Harry put the dishes we used away into the dishwasher and insisted that he do it alone since it's his turn to pamper me and all. Once he was done there, he sauntered over to where I was still sitting and gave me a bit of a look,

"Stay there, I'll be right back. I wanna go set this up before ya see it"

Was all he said before quickly jogging away and upstairs it seems from the sound of his footsteps. I wonder what he has for me now? Well while he's doing that, I decided to backtrack and look at the rest of the sketches he left for me with the roses he's left around the house.

I went into the living room and found one large empty vase and put the bouquet of gorgeous roses he gave me into it, taking a minute to smile and admire them before taking a deep breath of the refreshing aroma. I looked around for a moment and felt happy tears welling up in my eyes... all the flowers and petals scattered about, the candles, all.... all of it for me.... all given to me by the man I love with all my heart, it's just so incredibly heartwarming!

I began wandering around the room and picking up the note like pieces of folded paper ever so gently, all of them were either heartfelt love letters or sketches of me throughout the years... just as my heart was absolutely melting already, I picked up one letter and nearly began balling with happy tears at its contents,

"To the woman I wish to spend the rest of my life with, I hope you know how much I love you. Everything about your beautiful self, your gorgeous golden hazel orbs that I swear have real flecks of gold dusted into the sea of peridot that makes up the eyes I wish to look into for eternity, your smile that I selfishly love to be the reason behind, your laugh that you sometimes think is "obnoxious" is like music to my ears, your heart that holds nothing but kindness, strength, courage, and love, and of course, your beautiful soul itself. There is no one else I'd rather spend forever with. I can't wait to marry you, mon chéri"
