the avengers were currently out on a mission in the quinjet to infiltrate one of the HYDRA bases and bring back the agents so that they can hand them over to SHIELD. A simple yet tricky mission but nothing they can't handle. right?
"ok, so this is the plan. we sneak in, grab all the information that's there, bring back the agents and hand them over to shield got it?" said Tony "and what if we got caught?" asked Natasha "well then we'll just have to go with plan b" he replied "and whats plan b supposed to be tony?" asked steve " take them down and don't get killed" Tony said firmly and that was it. everyone went silent, ten minutes later they landed at the base that was located in the middle of the woods. the quinjet was invisible so they hardly attracted any attention. slowly they started to spread out trying to find an entrance so that they can get themselves inside and get this done quickly and quietly. "remember get hurt but don't get yourselves killed" tony reminded
"Are there any signs of heat tony?" steve asked through the earpiece. "no there's none outside, just need to find- found it. guys get here" everyone found where tony was through the earpiece and all made their way to an entrance. with one silent blast, tony managed to open the door and they all scattered around the place to get their hands on something or someone. "did anyone find anything?" clint asked through the earpiece "not yet, captain rogers. did you find anything?" asked thor "everything's clear here. you doing good there buck?" "Yeah, nothing much here as well" said bucky. suddenly the alarm went off "who did what?" tony asked groaning slightly "I don't think it's us tony. something else is going on" said Natasha " then let's go see what it is AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" said cap
a few seconds later everyone was together and running towards the alarm....until "HEY STOP!" one of the guards found them "I need back up at section-b6" "seems like we have company boys" said Natasha while looking at hydra's men running towards them bucky just rolled his eyes on nat's comment while they started running towards them too
"split up team, we have to find something here" cap yelled while fighting back and knocking out some of their men "nat, clint. go west, thor, buck go south while cap and I will hold these guys back" said tony. with that, they all followed tony's plan for now. half an hour later they knocked out every single one of HYDRA'S men that were there, there weren't many of them so it was a little easier. after locking every one of them another quinjet came flying towards the base, SHIELD agents came bursting in, taking hydra's men and pilling them into the jet. " good job team, just give it one last check and your mission is done today" said fury "sure fury, nat is still in there checking everything-" cap was cut by a very, very, loud scream
"we're leaving back to shield headquarters, see who that was and settle things in there" fury said, cap gave him a nod and ran back inside with buck "nat what was that?" cap asked while running to where it seemed like the scream came from. "I don't know, tony where did that come from?!" she asked "hold on I'm trying to find its heat source. give me a sec."
"gotta make it quick tin can" nat said back into the coms as tony rolled his eyes at her comment "well as you can SEE nat I'm trying" 10 seconds later tony indeed found it "in here" tony said and they rushed to where he was only to be stopped by a big ass metal door and the screams came from inside. "everyone stand back!" and with that tony blasted continuously in an effort to open the door "fuckin damn it" he cursed as he sent one last blast breaking the door open to find you with brown hair and brown eyes tied up to a chair, but no one else was there "guys that chair she's in is electrocuting her we have to stop that machine!!" your screams just filled the entire room and it actually pained everyone to see a young girl like you going through something like this "tony hurry!" nat yelled "DONE!" he yelled back and your screams were now replaced with painful sobs and pants
"she must be terrified" clint commented as they watched you, trying to decide on what to do next "p-p-plea-se s-sto-p...i c-cant an-y-mor-e" hearing what you said they all slowly turned to Natasha "hey uh nat? why don't you try talking to her" tony quietly suggested to her as the rest debated on their next plan, she gave a single nod and started approaching you " hey kid...listen to me, we're gonna get you out of this place ok? we're not here to hurt you" you were literally shaking "can you hear me?" she turned around and looked at cap so he tried talking to you as well but they saw you slowly open your eyes
and that you did.
your whole body felt like shit after being electrocuted with high voltage. you remember they wanted to kill you cause they had to evacuate the place, that could only mean someone was here to take you away or to use you to their advantage as well. but you couldn't think of anything at the moment cause of how painful your whole body felt. you kept my eyes closed to try and decreased the pain, you can't even use your powers cause of the collar around your neck let alone heal yourself cause of that thing. it felt like someone was in the room with you so the only logical thing at the moment was that hydra was back to electrocute you again "p-p-plea-se s-sto-p...i c-cant an-y-mor-e" the pain was too much at this point till you started to sob and cry your eyes out hoping they won't electrocute you and just lock you up in that cell again. The one they've been using to lock you in for the past 17 years, you only heard a female voice but it was all muffled. she sounded different so you knew she wasn't someone who usually comes in to shock you but you still couldn't trust her, slowly you started to open your eyes even if it was painful. you turned to your left and saw a group of people standing there staring at you and the girl who was still unknown to you continued to talk
the team observed as nat tried talking to you again but this time walking towards you slowly "kid listen we're gonna bring you somewhere safe ok?" "h-...how do i...know I c-can trust y-you?" nat smiled sweetly "I know it's hard for you to trust anybody at this point but if you come with us you'll be safe....ok? I'm gonna unlock all this ok?" nat said referring to the chair you're locked up on. you thought for a minute before nodding your head at her with tears rolling down your cheeks "p-please... I don't wanna be here an-nymore" you said unable to bear the pain
tony came towards you with a soft smile " hey kid, don't worry we'll get you out of this place ok?" tony said softly, you nodded your head with a broken smile. once he unlocked the thick belts that locked you in place they gave you some time to rest "do you think you'll be able to walk kid?" stark asked "i-i think so..." but eventually cap carried you to the quinjet after trying to get you to stand cause you obviously couldn't. after everyone got into the jet cap placed you on a stretcher "just rest ok? well get you somewhere safe" after nodding your head you passed out, the pain was still there and you were terribly weak, you most definitely couldn't keep your eyes open anymore. with everything settled they were on their way back to the tower
their home.
