Ingredients
Cookie
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp Grunde cinnamon
1 tsp Night Blooming vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Frosting
1 tbsp corn syrup
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp water
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Directions
Whisk together in a small bowl, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir together in a cup buttermilk and Vanilla.
Beat together butter and sugar in a large bowl until pale, then add egg. Mix in flour mixture and buttermilk mixture alternating in batches at low speed.
Scoop 1/4 cups of the batter 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Put in a preheated oven at 370 degrees and bake for ten minutes.
After done baking spread the vanilla frosting across half the cookie and do the same with the chocolate.
