"Daisy's Diner?" Rosie reads, looking at the restaurant curiously when they arrive.

"Have you never been?" Jungkook asks, one hand on the small of her back while the other holds the door open for her. "Their milkshakes are incredible."

"Taehyung and I don't go out much," she shrugs.

The restaurant was retro themed with colorful L.E.D. lights that enhanced the aesthetic feeling. There was even a jukebox in the corner playing old classics, like Frank Sinatra, which made it truly embody an old, romantic diner.

"Hello, welcome to—Rosie?"

"Ryan?"

Jungkook looks at the boy in front of them with an intense stare, his arm sliding around Rosie's waist in a protective manner. He barely knew Ryan, but he knew enough, and that's why his fingers were tightening around her hip.

"Um...." Ryan clears his throat uncomfortably and picks up two menus. "If you guys will follow me, I'll take you to your seats."

"Thank you, Ryan," Rosie smiles, sliding into her booth seat.

"It's no problem, Rosie," he grins, and Jungkook's fists tightened underneath the table. "Just let me know if you need anything."

Ryan walked away with a smirk, leaving the two alone. Rosie was about to ask Jungkook what was wrong, but a waitress approached them before she could.

"Can I start you guys off with anything other than water?" she asks politely, placing two glasses down in front of them

"Can I have the oreo milkshake, please?" Rosie asks hopefully, and the waitress nodded with a small smile.

"And you?"

"This water is fine," Jungkook states flatly.

Rosie pouts at his answer, biting the inside of her cheek before hesitantly waving the waitress closer. She cupped her hands around her ear and whispered, causing Jungkook's eyebrow to raise in curiosity.

"What did you say?" Jungkook asks when the waitress walked away.

"It's a surprise," she grins, pulling her water closer.

Jungkook would think about it more, but he was very distracted by the way Rosie's mouth wrapped around her straw. Very distracted by how her tongue ran over her plump lips before her teeth sunk down into the lower one innocently. He should be the one biting that lip of hers. He should be the one sucking those pink lips of hers a darker shade of red.

"Here you guys go," the waitress smiles, breaking his thoughts as she places an oreo milkshake in front of Rosie and a banana milkshake in front of Jungkook.

"I didn't order this," the ravenette frowns.

"She did for you," the waitress grins. "I'll give you guys a few minutes to look over the menu."

Rosie looks up shyly once she walks away, meeting Jungkook's intense gaze. He grabbed the milkshake and slowly brought it to his lips, sucking down the sweet drink while maintaining eye contact with her.

"Thank you," he smiles as her cheeks begin to warm, cocking his head to the side. "How did you know banana milkshakes are my favorite?"
