((So,, This is a soulmate au--

here's my e.g or whatever--

when person A or B starts singing, the lyrics to that song appear on the other person's arm.

So if person A is singing Despacito, then person B has to suffer with his/her/other's arm covered in the lyrics.---))

//Another A/N: I'm also gonna try to put more effort into these-

-𝟿:𝟸𝟺 ᴀᴍ, ʜᴏᴘᴇ's ᴘᴇᴀᴋ-

Shuichi settled himself upon a small wooden bench with metal arm-holders. Any minute now Rantaro Amami, The Ultimate Adventurer, would accompany beside him. Saihara needed to hear the Adventurer's advice on his Soulmate issue, as he had the idea the other person was also in Hope's Peak, but found no information on this theory.

Amami-Kun sped towards the detective at lighting speed, puffing his lungs out while he ran.''Heya Saihara! How's it goin'?'' Rantaro chuckled, his avacado green hair swaying in the breeze.

''Not so well. I haven't got a single clue who it is...'' Shuichi sighed unhappily. Rantaro grinned. ''Dude, don't worry 'bout it, kay? I know you'll find them. It's only a matter of time!'' Amami tried to cheer the poor emo up, but to no avail. Saihara sighed, again.

''You're just saying that because your soulmate came easily, Amami-Kun... No one's singing sounds as much like gibberish as Kiibo's does...'' he mumbled the last bit, hoping Rantaro wouldn't hear him.

''Haha, I guess so, still love him thought, but don't lose hope, okay? I know they're here somewhere. Got it?'' See, Amami already knew who Shuichi's soulmate was.

Kokichi Ouma, The Ultimate Supreme Leader. To Rantaro, he'd say Shuichi was in for a hell of a ride. Kokichi was a massive pain, but once you knew Ouma? he'd perhaps treat you like a literal god.

Just in that moment, Amami's phone buzzed. ''Ah-! It's Kiibo! Sorry Saihara. I'll see you later, Okay?'' Shuichi just nodded as the taller Ultimate swiftly sprinted away. Shuichi closed his eyes, now in deep thought.

~

Saihara  sauntered through the school grounds miserably, both sides of his brain told him that there was no chance in hell his soulmate would ever show up. But Rantaro, Kaito and Miu were all so confident in him, so sure his lover was around the next corner. He couldn't give up- for their sake.

The 5'7 Ultimate detective slumped around for ten minutes, sadness radiating off of him. The emo had even noticed a small group of first years scatter away in fear, the said boy's appearance created a zombie-like persona on Shu's physical looks.

Suddenly,-he felt an irritating itch swarm up his skinny, pale arms. It was his unknown beloved, singing gentle words to find him.

'𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦,

𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩 '𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘳𝘺.

𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦~'

Shuichi wouldn't deny, his soulmate had the strangest taste in music. It appeared to be rather old,- but whatever, it was actually kinda cute.

'𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘺 "𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘨𝘶𝘺!"

𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘺!~

𝘈𝘪𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨,

𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦.'

Wait... Guy? Could this be a boy? Shu was bisexual, but still hadn't expected this. Maybe he was over-thinking it?

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴 '𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘸, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 '𝘦𝘮 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘸!

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥!

𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐'𝘮 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭, 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯, 𝘏𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘭𝘶𝘫𝘢𝘩!

𝘎𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘧𝘭𝘺. 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯' 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩.

𝘉𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘶𝘱 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘱 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦.

Saihara realized how odd it must look, standing dead in the middle of a school hallway- staring at his arm.

I'm gonna live till I die,
I'm gonna laugh 'stead of cry.
I'm gonna take the town and turn it upside down
I'm gonna live, live, live till I die. They're gonna say "What a guy!"
I'm gonna play for the sky
Ain't gonna miss a thing I'm gonna have my fling
I'm gonna live, live, live till I die.

But then, Something incredibly strange happened.

Shuichi, was not only reading these lyrics, but he could hear them.

His soulmate was close. So, so close.

''What the fuck?'' Shumai sputtered, Ishimaru- who happened to be walking by- angrily shushed him, before moving on like an army solider.

''The blues 'll lay low I'll make 'em stay low
They'll never trail over my head.
I'll be a devil till I'm an angel,
But until then, Hallelujah! Gonna dance, gonna fly.
I'll take a chance ridin' high.
Before my number's up I'm gonna fill my cup
I'm gonna live, live, live, live, live until I die.!~''

The detective felt himself bolting through the small crowd, checking every room- every closet and corner for the bittersweet voice. He need to find him. Shuichi burst through the final room, sunlight poured over the slightly dusty instruments. The aroma of dirt lingered sourly in the air, and right across the room- was him.

His soulmate, standing dead in the middle off of the old music classroom.

''Erm-- Hey? Learn to knock bozo!'' He hissed.

''I-I'm sorry! Hey- I was wondering if it was you who u-uhm... was s-singing this?'' Shuichi stuttered nervously. He proceeded to show The mystery boy the lyrics, only to hear a slight gasp.

They locked eyes, feeling something warm, a gentle comforting feeling- flutter in both off their chests.

''You... You're my soulmate...?'' They uttered both at the same time.

And so, Shuichi had found his beloved- after so many years of doubt.
