Chapter 93

Holy shit, I was so busy the whole January since my university gave  a very very hard assessment 🤡

Anyway! I'm back though!! With my regulat weekly update, I hope!

Maybe some extra updates as well when I feel like it ;>

-Mizuki-

"Mizukiiii! I was so scared! I thought I was gonna lose you!" Onii-chan screams out with tears falling out of his eyes as aggressive rubs his cheeks against mine.

I couldn't help but sweat drop a bit from his actions since he literally just woke up from my bed and panicked a little when he didn't see me. The moment he saw me, he literally pounced at me crying.

It's been a few hours since my friends visited me and it's about five in the afternoon. Shikamaru and the others had to go meet up with their team for a while to discuss some things so I was left behind with Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke-San and Onii-chan.

Kakashi-sensei has been helping me go wherever I needed to go sjnce my body REALLY HURTS right now. Like really! I didn't expect that the poison would take such a huge toll on me! Thankfully Kakashi-sensei is kind enough to carry me :>

I still can't speak since my throat feels like it's burning. The feeling really sucks especially when I want to answer Kakashi-sensei's questions most of the time. Made me feel Gloomy when all I can do is nod in agreement or shake my head to disagree.

I couldn't help but silently glance at Sasuke-san who is currently busy with his food, he was staring across the room through the window as he takes a small bite on his bread.

"Naruto, I know you're happy to see your sister awake. But please try not to mober her too much, her body is still on the healing process" Kakashi-sensei says with a hum while reading his oh-so lovely book.

I still don't know on what type of book that is simce even Shikamaru won't tell me what it is :<

Maybe Jiraiya-san can tell me in the future? :> he looks like the person who can tell me what it is, even though he bullies Onii-chan.

I couldn't help but smile a little as my brother gives me a playful huff and pout as he pulls away from the hug, sitting in a criss cross while staring at me with a happy look.

"Your brother didn't sleep properly while you were under operation, he was causing ruckus while you were out" Kakashi-sensei states with hum  while flipping thfough the next page of his book.

I raised a brow as I look at my brother, who is now looking at mr with a peace sign and his tongue stucked out in a playful manner.

"Not my faulltt! You would've panicked as well if you didn't help that lady in the operation!" Onii-chan says with a huff and a giggle.

Lady? What lady?

I give Kakashi-sensei a confused look at the mention of mysterious lady as he noticed my stare, he couldn't helo but chuckle a little.

" A old friend of mine came by to Konoha in a perfect time with her brother and assistant. She's an amazing medic ninja that was firced to tranfer in the cloud village since the village was lacking medics at that time" He explains with a smile before closing his book and neatly tucks it inside his pouch that is attached to his hips and stood up.

"You'll be meeting her soon, I'm sure that you'll get along. After all, her and your mother used tonbe very very closed friends when they were younger" He says before walking towards the door that leads to the hallway of the hospital.

"I'll go and get us some dinner. Naruto, makes sure you keep your sister hydrated since her throat is still hurting" He says before giving us a small wave and then quickly left the room. Leaving me, Onii-chan and a very silent Sasuke-san.

I looked over at Sasuke-san and noticed how he's still staring at the same spot, not moving at all.

The fact that he's so silent is worrying me since he's been at it for over an hour now, not muttering a single word out of his mouth. I then turned to my brother and then grabbed his sleeve and giving it a small tug as he looks at me with  a raised brow.

I quietly pointed my hand to the very silent Sasuke-san and he must've gotten my message and nodded happily with a smile.

"You okay there, dude? You've been so quiet!" Onii-chan says as he looks at Sasuke-san with a happy smile as Sasuke-san stayed silent at his spot. As if he didn't hear anything at all.

"......."

"S-sa---" I was about to call out but a painful sting shoots up through my throat as I was forced to cough at the dryness and pain of it.

"Here, here. Drink this" Onii-chan says with a smile while handing me a bottle of warm water to help me hydrate for just a bit.

"Oi, you've been way too quiet" Onii-chan calls out to Sasuke-san as he patiently waits for me to finish my bottle of water.

"....I'm just thinking about something" Sasuke-san dryly replies before getting a can of iced tea and open it by the small lid and drank it. My eyes silently trails as he drinks his iced tea, a small bitter pit forming inside at the very cented of my chest.

As if like something is about to happen, something bad. I couldn't help but to start tapping the heel of my foot on the ground like an anxious rabbit. As I look back at my brother and motioned him to do something.

"Hmm, seems like it's important then. But don't overthink though, looks like your head is about to explode or something" Onii-chan says with an eye roll before giving me a thumbs up.

"Yeah, whatever"

I then placed down the bottle of water and grabbed the container filled with berries and took a strawberry. It was the size of my hand and it was, gigantic since its almost winter and ita most likely strawberry season.

As i take the strawberry I walked over to Sasuke-san and placed the berry on his hand as he continues to stare to a direction.

"..... Thanks"

I smiled in response.

I CAN EXPLAIN ON WHY I DIDNT UPDATE OKAY---

THE REASON WAS- I was busy simping 😌😌😌 the dude is very sweet😌

THATS IT- the sole reason i wasn't updating HAHAHAHAHAHAH

i was supposed to update last feb 5 but ended up forgetting about it 🤡🤡

This is the shortest chapter ever becayse I don't really know on how to finish this first part of the trilogy, Consider this as a filler? :>
