I caught a glimpse of the patient in the other room when I was waiting for Nurse Jun. I think he was around my age and he was sleeping. There's a heart monitor attached to him and he's bruised and bandaged.
I wasn't able to see more because Nurse Jun returned right away and accompanied me in my daily walk. He also gave me a sketchbook and some art materials as a late birthday gift.
Mom and dad must've mentioned to the staff about me wanting to paint my room. I guess this is a good alternative. I was so excited that when I went to the garden, I immediately looked for something to draw.
The first thing I drew was the little pond. there were tadpoles in it this morning and they have tails like mermaids. Nurse Jun told me that eventually they'll have legs just like the little mermaid.
