I woke up from my sleep because of a commotion outside my room. They were so noisy so I stood up to take a peak. There must be a new patient who will be staying in the room across mine.
I saw an old couple crying while talking to the doctor and there was blood. I wanted to comfort them but what can I do? I'm also just a patient here. Whoever is in that other room, I hope they get better.
Nurse Aya will help me back to sleep. I've been having trouble sleeping these days so she would read me fairytale stories, the old versions. They're gruesome but I don't know... I just feel better knowing that pain is what can assure me that I'm alive.
