Chapter 22

Right now I was trying to help Sam with turning back into his human form Derek was in his bed just laying there like usual

Sam would glance at him every so often with concern in his eyes

"Alright let's take a break" I said grabbing Sams attention he nodded and walked away

Sam kinda reminds me of Stiles a bit like his smart remarks or the way he immediately became friends with Scott

"Hey Derek I need to talk to you" I said Derek hesitated before sitting up and getting out of bed "Can we go on the Blacony?" I asked he nodded his head

We walked out to the balcony I leaned on the railing a bit as he did the same

"So what did you want to talk about?" He asked glancing at me

"It's about Sam he reminds me of Stiles like his smart remarks or the way he immediately became friends with Scott like they've known each other for years...or the way he looks at you" I said as he stayed quiet "Now I know wha-"

"He's not Stiles Y/n" he said cutting me off

"I kn-"

"Stiles is dead and he's not coming back no matter how hard we try he won't come back" he said cutting me off yet again

"Dere-"

"STILES IS DEAD" he shouted as tears came to his eyes I let out a sigh as I just hugged Derek to help calm him down

Derek just started crying when my arms were around him and he kept crying "I'm sorry I guess I just wanted him back" I said in a hushed tone as tears came to my eyes as well

"We all do n/n" Derek replied his voice breaking

We had stayed out there for quite some time I started crying as well but it wasn't as long as Derek we both came back in with eyes puffy and red

Sam wasn't around and Peter was sitting on the couch reading Derek went to his bed and I sat beside Peter he glanced at me seeing my red puffy eyes he pulled me close so my head was resting on my shoulder

"It's alright baby" he said I gave a smile at the nickname he had given me I cuddled up to his side as he had an arm around me as he continued reading

I shortly fell asleep after that happened but woke up when the loft door slide open revealing a hurt Sam and Scott following behind him

"Y/n Sam got shot" Scott said Peter unwrapped an arm from me so I could get to Sam who needed help

I came to Sam and held his paw as he whimpered from the touch "Did you see who it was?" I asked Scott shook his head no "It might be a wolfsbane bullet or maybe a normal one where were you guys at?"

"We were walking in the woods when I saw flash lights the I heard a bang go off and Sam got hit"Scott said

"Alright might be cops or just normal hunters" I said "Okay Sam this might hurt" I said as I picked him up earring a whimper from him "Sorry" I said as I placed him on the table not really caring if Derek gave me a glare

I took a closer look at the wound and saw it was just a normal bullet "Is it normal?" Peter asked

"Yeah it is" I said as I tried my best to get the bullet out it took a couple tries but I had finally got it out and saw Sam immediately starting to heal "Alright your good" I said as Sam stood up jumping off the table

"Y/n you have blood on your face a bit" Peter said with a smirk

"Well then I'm going to go wash it off" I said as they all nodded I walked to the bathroom and started washing off the blood

After I was done I let out a sigh and locked eyes with myself in the mirror I heard a knock on the door making me turn my head and see Peter walking in

"You alright?" He asked I let out a sigh as he wrapped an arm around me "Still miss him?" He added I nodded my head as he kissed my four head "We all do sweetheart even me" he said I gave a small smile

I rested my head on his chest as he rubbed circles on my back he started to calm me down by whispering in my ear

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"For being there for me to help calm me down?" I said looking down

I felt a hand on my chin making me look up and meet his eyes he gave me a sweet smile which made my stomach fill with butterfly's as I smiled back

"Your welcome" he said as he leaned into kiss me it was soft sweet and passionate I wish it could last forever but we had to breath

He rested his four head on mine as I wrapped my arms around his neck "love you" he said

I smiled "love you too" I responded as he gave me a quick kiss pulling me out of the bathroom by my hands

It was now dark out and I'm training with Sam right now he's doing really good I'm trying to teach him how to turn back into his human form "Clear your mind Sam" I said as he sat in the middle of the room as Peter and Derek watched from the stairs

Sam started breathing heavily "Stay calm" I said in a calm yet gentle voice but it didn't really help that much I looked up to Derek or Peter for help

"Stay calm Sam your not going to get hurt" Derek said rolling his eyes I looked back at Sam and saw his breathing became slightly normal

"Focus Sam" I said as I saw Sam started to change shape his white fur soon turned a skin closer as he started shifting his wolf legs slowly turned to their normal form his hair started to brown as he kept his head down

My breathing hitched as my eyes widened as their brown eyes locked with mine he had no shirt but he had ripped pants

I looked up to Derek and Peter seeing their eyes wide as well I looked back at him and saw he was looking up at Derek and Peter

He looked back at me with a sad look as tears came to his eyes he started mumbling something it was to hard to hear

Derek and Peter came down to my side as I looked at him he looked up at Derek with tears down his face "I'm so sorry" he said his voice was sad

I walked up to him and pulled him into a hug as tears rolled down my face he hugged back crying into me

"It's okay" I said as I looked over at Derek and Peter Derek looked disbelief as Peter was looking at Derek

"D-Derek" he said making me look down at him at him Derek rushed over pulling him into a big hug

Peter came over and crouched down behind me  as I sat on the floor "How?" I heard Derek say

"I don't know" he responded as Derek and him cried together

Alright I think y'all know who it is by now but also tomorrow I'm most likely not post cause in driving for the first time tomorrow with Drivers Ed so wish me luck...
