Chasity's POV-
We sat on the picnic blanket talking, laughing, and eating the whole time.
"Wait you're saying that you never had McDonalds before?" I asked like he was crazy.
"No. My parents were very strict on fast food and I couldn't have any." He told me.
"Oh my goodness that's a sad childhood. We need to go to McDonalds at 1 in the morning." I replied.
"Why 1 in the morning?" He asked.
"It hits different." I replied and he chuckled.
"Oh look the sun is going down. Do you want to watch it with me?" He asked me and I stared at him like he was dumb.
"Are you kidding me. Of course, I would love to watch the sunset with you." I said and excitedly got closer to the edge.
"But first we need to in grave our initials into the wall like some sappy rom com." I said and got a rock.
He put his initial and I put mine. We put a heart around it.
So cute.
We smiled at our creation.
I ran up to the edge of the cliff and my foot slipped.
Oh my goodness.
That shit is steep.
I actually don't want to die.
I tightly closed my eyes waiting for the fall but it never happened.
I slowly opened it and saw Stefan. I looked down and saw his hands wrapped around my waist trapping me.
I stared into his eyes and I could see the worry in it.
"Are you okay Chasity?" He asked me his voice laced with concern.
"Yea I'm fine." I replied and sat down.
He grabbed a blanket and sat down next to me.
We sat in silence for a few moment when I decided to speak up.
"You know how i talk about wanting to die?" I asked him.
"Yea." He replied coming closer to me.
"I use to mean it. But I don't think I do anymore." I whispered.
"What do you mean?" He asked looking at my face.
"Before meeting my brothers and everyone I didn't really have anyone. I didn't have friends and my mom hated me. I was alone. If this was a year ago I would happily fall off this cliff. But then today when I slipped all of sudden I became so scared. I have my brothers and I have Madeline. Now I have you. I finally have people who care about me and I don't want to lose them. Maybe death isn't for me." I said and he smiled at me. I also want to sneak into Missy's (the girl who was first kidnapped with Chasity) graduation and play WAP but you get the whole thing.
He hugged me and I hugged him back. He kissed my head.
"You are a strong girl Chasity. You really are." Stefan said to me.
Oh fuck it.
I kissed him.
And he kissed me back.
As he should!
