1] no on-holds

What's one update a week? Okay, to be reasonable, you should update twice on monthly basis.

Nobody likes dead end stories. That's how your readers evaporate. That's why most authors, the famous ones, have update schedules. Period.

2] no first drafts

I understand, Stacy, that —

You'd just started watching new season of PLL. Then after five years you seemed to recall that your work was pending. You were only a kid when you had started. Sucks for you.

But for the sake of competition, either heavily edit it or rewrite from scratch.

3] no fanfics

Original characters and plot are a must.

Being inspired by a telly show or Netflix or some novella you got from library is all good, just don't copy stuff down, this ain't school.

I get you're swimming in fandom but for the sake of audience who aren't into the same thing or celebrity as you, please.

Else be disqualified.
