Chapter 31 - The Calm

Start from the beginning

Olivia took a step closer to him going on to her tip toes reaching her arms up around his neck pulling him into the warmest hug she could give. She felt him pulling her in putting his arms around her as she felt him cry on shoulder.

She wished she'd known him when they were alive, of course she wished she'd known all of them but Alex the most. She wondered what they could have done for each other, how they could have helped each other back then.

She wait for a minute before speaking again, giving him a moment to just be sad, to have someone hug him and make him feel better for a change. "Alex if anyone of us deserves to be happy it's you, and if me speaking to him, hearing him out makes you happy I'll do it, that's what family's do. It's the least I can do for you and for him."

"Thank you Livie."

"So you're good? Like not stressed? You're fine?" Flynn said as the they all stood at Olivias locker.

Lucky the day seemed to have gone pretty quickly and she was now getting her guitar out her locker ready to go to The Rodeo and try again.

"Yeah I guess so, Sarah's picking me up in like 5 minutes to take me, the songs good, I'm good." She closed her locker and turned to look at the two other girls who were looking at each other worried and then back at her again.

"What's wrong with you?" Flynn said looking her up and down as Olivia flung her backpack over her shoulder laughing at her friend.

"Well thank you Flynn." She said as they all started to walk towards to doors leading to the car park.

"You know what she means it is strange for you." Julie looked over at her, she furrowed her brows trying to not worry but it was a sudden character change for the red head.

"Yes me being calm for once is." She laughed hoping they would stop looking at her weird, they didn't. "No I know, I don't know I just kinda woke up in a good mood I guess. Also maybe it's because Juke is finally a thing." She smirked at Julie at the end.

Flynn stopped in her tracks grabbing on to Julies arm stopping her too. "WHAT! You didn't tell me!" She shouted at her.

"Olivia!" Julie cried out but Olivia didn't stop when the other two had knowing all too well she wouldn't be happy, she was just trying to change the conversation off of her and it worked.

Olivia waved behind her as she ran out the door towards her aunts car. "Got to go. Bye!"

There she was again. Up on that stage guitar in hand. Her hands weren't shaking as much and she could breathe so things were better than the last time she thought, but the boys weren't here yet.

Lisa and 2 other men were sat at a table just in front of the stage talking, as she waited for them to tell her to go ahead. She tried not to look at them, their expressions were making her nervous.

Sarah was stood at the back of the room lean up against the bar. She sent a thumbs up to her niece smiling at her, she was happy she was getting a second chance. This place had meant so much to her dad, it was the place he'd wished he'd gotten a chance to play at, he'd be proud of her.

As her eyes shifted around the room and she let out a sign of relief as she heard an all too familiar poof noise come form next to the table Lisa was sat at. She turned to see all 3 boys smiling at her, mostly because they were happy they had actually made it on time.
