When Charles Beckendorf or 'Charlie' passed away, all Silena Beauregard could feel was dread filling her heart. At night, when all her cabin mates had gone to sleep, she would walk outside at sit down and look at the star. She sobbed and mourned silently for her love. After his passing, she wondered if he ever knew about her betrayal to camp. Then, the attack in Manhattan came. When she learned about the unhelping hand of the Ares cabin, she originally went to convince Clarisse. But then something struck her. If Clarisse refused to help, she would fill in. She would slay the drakon and try her best to honor Charlie. But the worst part? She knew she was going to die. But she didn't mind. She didn't care that she died a traitor. She just wanted to be with Charlie, and live a life with him in Elysium. She never thought she would be honoured at camp as a hero but at least she tried her best to fix things up. Silena really just did this to be with him.
