By now , Amrita was vigorously shaking and shivering, her lips were moving but no words were coming out .
"Yah Ammar watch out" she yelled sweating furiously.
"Hey baby I'm here" I reassured her
"Y.. yah amm... Ammar " she muttered , placing her shaking hands on my face
"A...are y.you okay" she managed to uttered
"Yes I'm alright just miserable without my angel" I say with tears in my eyes.
She immediately pulled me in a tight hug, kissing my face all over again.
" i thought I lost you yah Ammar" she cried
"No you would never lose me before giving birth to my 12 babies" I teases and she shyly placed her head in my chest
"Umm Umm if you love birds are through may I check my patient" I heard the doctor's voice from behind while amrita quickly removed her grip on me.
I couldn't look the doctor in the eye and just then I remembered momma
"Where is momma" I asked
"She immediately left after witnessing the couples reunion" the doctor teases
And I felt like digging a hole and putting myself inside . Yah ilahi.
The doctor let out a laugh while he examined amrita .
AMRITA POV
I didn't know what comes over me but I dreamt that ammar was going away from me, that thought only terrified me but waking up to him by my side, my emotions overpowered me . We were still in our world untill the doctor's voice brought us back from our worlds , and he left me embarrassed with my actions urgh and the worst part , I did that in front of momma Wayyo why won't the ground swallow me 😫.
"Are you feeling alright ?" The doctor asked me
"Yes Alhamdullilah but I'm feeling a slight pain within my joints" I replied
"That's not a big deal it is as a result of you being in a coma so your body was not doing any movement but Insha Allah when you exercise your body, you will feel much better within a week" he replied
He turned towards ammar
"Since our madam has woken up , no more crying , and putting pressure on yourself" he teases and ammar smiled winking at me to which I divert my attention to another place
"I would prescribe some few medicines that she would take regularly and you also need to help her exercise especially her injured arm but no lifting of heavy objects for a week and we would see if we have any achievements" he explained and ammar nods before he left the room.
Momma came into the room before pulling me in a bear hug
"Ouch" I cried out because she held my injure arm by mistake
"Oh I'm sorry my bad , I'm just happy that you've woken up" momma said with tears in her eyes
I shook my head
"Momma what I'm I seeing ? Tears nooo God forbid not when I'm alive. You shouldn't cry momma just say Alhamdullilah" I pouted before she embraced in another hug
"I've missed you too" I replied with tears in my eyes . I stare at ammar who was standing still in his position with a smile on his face, I smiled at him while he winked at me , I hides my flushed face in momma's hijab.
"Shameless boy what are you standing there doing ? go and bring her meds" momma said shooing Ammar out of the room while I let out a small smile.
After some minutes, Ammar came in with fahad holding a basket filled with food ( I guess) .
"Alhamdullilah my sis has woken up" fahad exclaimed walking towards me
"I've missed you rita" he pat my face
"I've missed you too yah fahad" I replied
"Umm fahad momma is exhausted and she hasn't taken her pills , you have to drop her home and it's kinda of late" ammar said with a stern face
(Ah hah wetin happen Ammar why the long face. 🧐)
"Why ? Who's going to stay with amrita" momma asked worriedly
"Momma ain't you forgetting that her husband is also capable of staying with her , look at him he is eager to spend an alone time with her it's been long" fahad teases
"Yah rabbi shameless boy" momma gasped before she slapped the back of his head . I laughed at them while Ammar smirked at him with fahad glaring at ammar.
Momma and fahad left but not before giving strict warning to Ammar on how to take care of me and placing a kiss on my cheeks with fahad winking me.
Now it's only me and yah Ammar
