Chapter 18

(Amelia's POV)
"Amelia?" Sarah looked at me shocked along with my Aunt and Uncle

"H-hi" I wave and go to sit on the couch

"What happened dear?" My Aunt sat next to me and grabbed my hands. I closed my eyes

"I-I"

"How'd you get out?" Sarah asked

"I w-walked out the-e front door" I shuttered

"You walked out the front door?" My uncle asked sitting on the coffee table in front of me "As in he led you to the door and let you go?"

"No" I shook my head "No, no one was in the house, or outside the house. As in it was like a ghost house, not a soul or body in sight. He wasn't even there" My aunt hugged me as a tear slide down my face

"That doesn't make any since. Why would he even take you in the first place? What does he want?"

"I kept asking the same questions on the way here"

"The police didn't even try to find you. They just told me not to call or ask about you" Sarah shock her head

"Honey?" I looked up "Who is he?" I looked straight into her eyes. I stayed silent for a few seconds

"Axel Hunter" they gasped and my uncle stood up

"Why were you even near him?" He grew angry "How did you end up in his house to begin with?"

"I met him three months ago, I knew his name was Axel and that was it. I kept running into him and finally three weeks ago... he just took me" I sighed rubbing my head with my hands

"He wants something. It's like a game to him" my uncle said "I've heard of him doing this to girls before, and... and" he paused staring into space

"And what? Zack?" My aunt pressed

"And when he's bored, he kills them"

"What?" I question "I could die?"

"We're not going to let that happen, ok?" I nod and my uncle wraps his arms around me in a hug. I'm gonna have some men follow you around ok? But please don't go out unless you really need to, alright?"

"Yes" I nod

Soon they left. I took a long shower and changed into my clothes. We payed on my bed as she held me and I cried, this is what I needed. My best friend and a good long cry. Why'd he choose me? Don't get me wrong I wouldn't want this happening to any other girl, but why did it have to be me? What's so special about me?

Does he know who my parents are? What they used to do? Who they used to be? Was that why? So many questions ran through my head and I cried my heart out until I fell asleep once again. I just needed some rest, that's all I need. Right?
