I ended up not going to sleep at all.
I mean, I tried.
And even though Bucky was with me, it was still pretty hard to fall asleep.
I felt if I closed my eyes, I'd see everything again.
I felt I might experience it all again.
I didn't even know what else there was to experience again, though.
It's not like I remember everything that's ever happened to me, so who knows what's left to remember?
I sit up from the bed I was laying on. I mostly stared at the ceiling for all of the night.
I'd sit up quickly whenever I heard any noise, though.
I was still afraid of everything that happened last night.
I sit up, looking over to where Bucky was.
I don't think he got much sleep either.
"Hi." I say, rubbing my eyes. I was exhausted.
"Good morning." He says back.
I'm about to stand up when I feel a sharp pain in my chest. From last night.
I stand up, slower than before. I had to get up at some point.
"Hey, if you can't get up that's okay." He begins, standing up.
"Gosh, I didn't know you were one to brag." I chuckle.
"What?" He asks, confused.
"You just stood up so easily." I answer.
"Well, it's not like I got kicked in the chest." He chuckles.
"You will." I say, reaching my hand on to the desk.
"Is that a threat?" He laughs.
"Maybe."
I make my way, slowly, to the door.
Every now and then, wincing at the pain in my chest.
He easily walks over to the door, opening it so I could get out easier.
"Thanks." I say, slowly walking out the door, making my way to the kitchen.

As soon as I make it to the kitchen, the first person I see is Peter.
He was eating one of Thor's PopTarts.
I could care less, honesty. Thor ate too many.
As soon as he saw me, he looked down at his plate, continuing to eat.
I slowly walk over to the box of PopTarts.
I see Peter look up at me, confused. Probably from the way I was walking. I thought somebody would tell him about the occurrence last night, apparently not.
"Can I have one?" I ask Thor, pointing to the PopTarts.
"Sure." He says, smiling. But he also looks a bit annoyed at the fact people are eating his PopTarts.
Oh please.
I take a pack of the PopTarts out of the box, and grab a plate, considering sometimes PopTarts crumbled a lot.
I choose to sit down across from Peter.
Maybe he'd talk to me.
Or maybe he wouldn't.
Maybe he'd get up and leave instead.
He looked shocked at the fact I'm sitting near him, but he just looks back down at his plate of PopTarts.

I tear open the wrapping of the PopTarts and push them onto the plate.
I look up, staring at Peter, as I take a bite of one of the PopTarts.
"What?" He sighs, not having to look up to know I'm looking at him.
I don't answer him.
I didn't want to. I wanted to see what he'd do.
In front of other people.
I mean, the only other people in the dining area was Steve and Bucky.
They were both talking, I assume they were catching up with everything.
After all, I think they were best friends. And they still are.
When I don't answer him, Peter looks up at me.
"What?" He asks again.
I just shrug.
He looks like he's getting either a bit upset, angry, or uncomfortable.
"Stop staring at me like that." He says, trying to sound rude. But he didn't sound rude.
I shrug again.
I wanted to see what he'd do.
"Please." He mutters out.
I shrug. Again.
He sighs and bites into his PopTart again.
He never makes eye contact with me.
I don't really know what I'm trying to achieve by staring at him.
But it was pissing him off. I think.
I could try to read him.
But I didn't feel like doing that. I needed him to tell me everything that was going on by himself.

Suddenly, Tony Stark comes walking into the room.
"Hey, kid. Watcha doing?" Tony asks, toward Peter.
"Oh, I- I was eating a PopTart.." Peter says, beginning to stand up.
Tony glances over at me and Peter leaves the room.
"You alright?" Tony asks me.
"Hm?" I turn toward him.
"From last night."
"Oh, yeah. Im fine, I think." I answer.
"Good." He says, before leaving the room, following Peter.
I watch as Tony takes Peter's hand, dragging him into another room.
I look over to Bucky who must've also seen it.
"Don't." Bucky says. Well, he doesn't really say it. He lips it.
He raises and eyebrow as I stand up, heading toward the room he dragged Peter into.
Bucky's about to get up and follow me, when he remembers that Steve is sitting right next to him. Continuing to talk.
I near the door, trying to listen in.
All I could really hear is muffle arguing.
I can't make out a single word.
The talking stops, and I hear footsteps coming toward the door.
I quickly run to my room, trying not to look suspicious.
But before I open my door, I get that feeling again.
That somebody's in there.
I stand in front of the door, deciding what to do.
"What's the matter?" I hear someone ask behind me.
I jump before tuning around to see Thor.
"Oh, nothing. I just.." I say, but get cut off.
"Nobody's in there, Sarah." He assures.
"I know.. but I feel like there is."
He sighs and gently pushes me out of the way, reaching for the door knob.
He opens the door all the way, looking inside.
He turns around, facing me.
"There's nobody here." He smiles.
He even looks around the door and through the closets.
"Thank you." I say, before he leaves.
I close the door, and turn to face the rest of the room.
I gasp, as a man appears in front of me.
He gives a devilish smirk.
And then it hits me.
"I believe we've met." He says.
"Yeah. We have." I say, moving around him to get to my bed.
"Come on, at least tell me you remember who I am." He smirks.
"Yes, I do," I answer, flopping down onto the bed, "Why are you here?"
"Harsh, after all. I did save you."
"You merely warned everybody. Saving and warning isn't exactly the same thing." I joke.
"Oh, please. You would be dead if I didn't warn them. I. Saved. You."
"Ok, Loki, but why are you here? How are you here? Shouldn't you be on ass guard or whatever it's called?"
He smirks a bit on the mispronunciation.
"Isn't it a bit obvious?" He asks.
"If you want it to be obvious, maybe don't look so secretive. And maybe don't dress like a wizard." I say, pointing toward his all black outfit.
"Hey..." he mutters.
"Tell me. Why are you here?" I ask again.
He rolls his eyes, "I may be able to assist you."
"With what?" I say, sitting up a bit.
"Seriously? That one wasn't even obvious?" He jokes, seriously.
He sighs, "Your whole father situation."
I stand up, looking him in the eye.
I had to look up at him, though.
He was pretty tall.
"How?" I ask.
He puts his hand up, revealing a blue glowing cube.
"What's that?" I ask, eyes widening.
I reach my hand out to touch it, but he stops me with his other hand.
"Do not touch it. It may seem like some sort of toy, but it's extremely powerful. It could wipe out this whole planet." Loki says, pushing my hand back to my side.
"And what can you do with it?" I ask, curious.
"Many things. Too much for a mortal." He says, hiding it.
I smirk and cross my arms, "And you have it... why?"
He shrugs.
"I have my ways of getting things I want. Unlike you, of course. You don't get much you want, do you?"
"But you can't get fatherly love?" I joke.
Dark humor.
"Just because you know my memories now, doesn't mean you could use it against me."
"Oh, but you can?"
"I'm a God."
"Are you now?"
"Yes, I do happen to be a God."
"Last time I checked, there was one God," I begin, pointing toward all of his clothes, "And I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like.. that."
"And how many years ago was that?"
"Too many, I guess." I mumble.
He paces back and forth, wall to wall.
"So what are you planning to do with that thing?" I ask.
"It's called the Tesseract," He corrects, "And I don't plan to do anything with it.. unless you want me to."
I raise an eyebrow.
He was a bit odd. Not bad though.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask.
"Your father, of course."
"You want me to tell you if you should kill him with that?"
He shrugs and smirks.
"How painful is it?" I ask.
Although that man did terrible things.
I didn't want to do such a terrible thing to him, too.
Nobody deserves as much pain as I went through.
Not even the person who did it.
The pain was too much for a human.
Intolerable.
"Very." He answers.
I take a minute to answer him again.
The answer should be very clear.
I should be saying yes.
But I cant. I can't do that.
"Well?" He asks, realizing how long I'm taking.
"No." I sigh.
"No?"
"No." I repeat.
"But why?" He asks, clearly a bit confused. After all, he did see my memories.
He saw everything that has ever happened to me.
Even things I couldn't technically remember.
Because they were always gonna be there. The back of my mind, that had been forgotten.
Yeah, I relived the memories when he saw them, but for some odd reason.. I didn't see the ones that I haven't remembered yet.
"I can't do that to a human." I answer.
"Oh, come on. You know what that man did to you, right? All of it!"
I shrug.
"You don't, do you?" He asks, a bit sympathetically.
I shrug.
"Perks of being brain washed, I guess." I say.
He looks at me confused.
"What?" I ask.
"When I look through your worst memories, you're supposed to see them too." He claims.
"Well, I only saw the ones I technically remember." I say.
"Well, then," He clears his throat, "Would you like to get out of here?" He smirks.
I'm about to say yeah, when I realize....
I couldn't do that.
Not really.
Sure, it's easy to leave the building an never come back... I guess.
But I had Bucky. I needed him. And he might need me.
"I um.." I begin.
"You what?" He asks.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
I stay silent.
"Bucky." I answer.
He sighs, "Well, do you want my help or not?"
"I do... but I can't just leave and never come back."
"Well, then. We'll have to make a plan." He says.
"Won't you get caught?"
"Of course not. I'll hide in your closet!"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Come on. Don't like roommates?" He smirks.
"I don't even know you well. Hell, I don't even know your age. I can't let someone I don't know well into my room each night." I tell him.
"I'm in my thousands." He smirks.
"I'm sorry, what?" I ask, checking to see if I heard him wrong.
"Well, technically in Midgardian years, I'm 17."
"17?"
"Yes. Why do you sound so unsure?"
"You don't really look 17."
"Must be the perks of being a God." He smirks, boasting.
He just stares at me for a few more seconds, and then clears his throat.
"Well, then, I could stay?" He assumes.
"Yeah." I reassure.
He walks over to the closet and opens it. It wasn't the biggest, but it wasn't technically a small size. He could probably fit in it.
"Not as big as I'd hoped." Loki sighs.
"It's a closet. What did you expect?" I joke.
"Perhaps you sleep in the closet." He suggests, sarcastically.
"Pfft. No way. Now get in there, you God."
I walk over, gently pushing him into the closet.
"Not even a goodnight?" He smirks.
"Nope. It's not even night!" I chuckle, closing the closet.
"How am I supposed to breathe in here?" He says, his voice muffled through the closet.
"Oh please, just keep the closet cracked open a bit. You're not going to die."
"Why, of course, I'm not going to die. I'm a God."
"God of what?" I wonder.
"Mischief." He answers, proudly.
"Makes sense."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Oh, please. You had to have a special cage made by the Avengers."
"Well, I'm quite hard to catch."
"Sure you are. God of Mischief hiding in a closet."
"You put me here."
"You suggested I should."
He stays quiet, knowing I'm right.
I'm about to walk way, but then I realize.
"Shit." I mutter.
"What is it?" He asks.
"I need my clothes."
"Well, surely it isn't much of a problem to-.." I cut him off as he speaks.
"Oh, please. You're the God of Mischief for crying out loud," I say, opening the closet to grab my clothes, "I'll change in the bathroom"
I take clothing of the racks and close the closet again.
"Don't you think they'll be a bit suspicious to why you're changing in the bathroom?" He chuckles.
Well, shit.
"I'll say I saw a spider. I don't like spiders."
"What about spider boy?"
"He's not an actual spider, Grumpy." I joke.
"Who's grumpy?" He asks.
"You are, now."
"Oh, please."
I'm about to head toward the door with my clothes, when I think of something.
"How do I know you won't leave?" I ask.
"Why would I leave, when I came to you?" He chuckles.
"You're in a closet. A closet. I think you'd want to leave." I joke.
"Well, maybe I have reasons to stay."
"Yeah, cool. I'm gonna change now. In the bathroom."
"Alright? What, do you wants gold star for that?"
"Bye, Grumpy." I chuckle, leaving my room.
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.
