Tomorrow is going to be a new term, and I am still in SS1(Senior Secondary School 1.)

The Christmas holiday is finally over... for all the boarders, most especially. And being a boarder, I would have to resume today.

Sunday ah! The day when I'm finally going back to hostel but this time without my brother.

Shit! it's late already, and I haven't even gotten ready to pack. I just took a small nap by three, and now it's already six.

My mum, dad and brother are taking me back to school and they didn't even wake me up.

Wow, how much I feel loved.

I got up from my bed and started packing as fast as I could.

Ankara - check!

4 blouses & hoodies - check!

3 black skirts and 1 jeans - check!

Pocket money - check!

Toiletries - check!

Most importantly,

Provisions and refreshments - check!

I shut my luggage and rushed downstairs.

"Mummy aren't we going yet?" I asked rushing downstairs.

"Oh I almost forgot. Have you packed your clothes?" She asked worriedly.

"Yes." I replied.

"What about your soap, toothbrush, sponge, toothpas-"

"Yes mummy, everything there is no need to worry." I cut her off.

"Good, what of your underwear?" She asked. I smiled and nodded.

Typical mother

"Yes, I'm ready to go."

"Okay, let's go." She said.

" Is daddy and Tire not going?" I asked.

"Why?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"You know, so we can spend time talking." I pouted.

"Your dad is busy, so you can call your brother." She agreed and just grinned.

"Okay." I said before I headed upstairs to call my brother.

Reaching upstairs i open my brothers door to his room without knocking. "Tire, you and mummy are dropping me off to school."

"Can't you knock? Get out of my room."

"No. I'm not going anywhere. I mean like now." I challenged.

"What? Why? It's not by force." He stayed on his word.

"Mummy is calling you."

"It's not by force. Tell her that I'm not going. I mean, it's not like we aren't going to see in school tomorrow."

"Please just follow us."

"No." He eyed me. "Now get out!" He said and I gave him a deadly glare.

"So it'sbecause I'm beginning you." I said about to leave to snitch him to my mum. He just ignored me to leave him alone.

I headed downstairs as I spotted mum.

"Mummy, Tire said he isn't going. Let's go." I said annoyed.

"Tirelogo!"

"Ma!?" He yelled. Does he not know how to keep his voice down?

"If you don't come downstairs now, you know what I can do."
