New Year

(Hwang Areum POV)
"Wow... Can you believe the year is ending already?" I asked Jimin.
He sighed and nodded his head.
"This year was the worse, but at least it's ending already."
I nodded my head as I took a sip of my banana milk.
"Let's go now?" I asked.
"Mhm sure." Jimin said as we got up as he walked me home.
{Time Skip}
"Hey, Areum?"
I looked at him and hummed in reply.
"Would you like to watch the fireworks display with me tonight? It's alright if your parents don't approve-
I chuckled before nodding my head.
"My parents actually own a booth there, so I was going to go anyways." I said smiling softly.
He smiled as we reached the front of my house.
"It's a date then, see you later."
I blushed softly before waving him goodbye.
{Time Skip}
I finished applying lip balm on my lips before looking at myself through a mirror.
'damn... i look actually pretty for once.'
Once I was done finishing up someone knocked at the door.
"Areum, I'm here." Jimin said.
"Okay. I'll be there."
I grabbed my bag before going to the front door opening it to see Jimin.
His hair looked as fluffy as ever.
'omg his hair makes him look so cuteeee.'

He smiled at me before acting shy all of a sudden.
"You look really pretty..."
I blushed at his words.
"You look very handsome too Jimin." I said making him blush this time.
"Let's go?" He asked.
I nodded my head as he led me towards a car.
"Jimin? When did you get a car?" I asked as we both got in.
"Oh, this is my father's. He lend it to me since he didn't want us to walk or take a bus to the festival."
I nodded my head.
We then played music and talked until we arrived at our destination.
{Time Skip}
We've been walking around for an hour or so while eating lots of food.
We eventually stopped at a bench as it was only a couple of minutes until 12 am.
Once it was a minute left we stood up and got ready to count.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Everybody in the area screamed.
I looked at Jimin to greet him, but before I could, my lips were immediately pressed against his.
My eyes widened but soon closed as I fell in love with the kiss.
We pulled away as I blushed and hugged him.
"Happy New Year baby." He said giving me a peck on the forehead before hugging me back.

2020 WILL END IN A COUPLE MORE HOURS~!
I'M SO READY FOR THIS YEAR TO END!
I pray that we all will be healthy and safe always. As well as I hope that next year will be much better than this year.
